Docteur Ganjah is back on Culture Dub Records! After serving us an explosive Dub on "Dynamite", the doc takes us this time to India with the Stepper 'Indian Palace' and its intoxicating vocals, followed by his Dub version to wake up your Chakras, ready to shake the Sound Systems Dub, in Free Download of course!

Doctor Ganjah started music at a young age in a self-taught way (guitar, bass, drums) playing Rock / Metal from Nirvana to Metallica, from Telephone to Korn... From his beginnings in MAO and while descovering Reggae, he began to compose his own tracks “for fun”. He recorded and mixed moments shared with his friends to release the album entitled “Fils et ses amis”. He was influenced by the first Sound Systems near Lille and he discovered Dub Roots, then Stepper and Electro Dub with Kanka, Panda Dub, Mahom and there…

In Toulouse, he participated in the creation of the R2S collective with whom he produced a Reggae / Dancehall album mixed and recorded with his own hands. In 2018 it was on the label of our friends Marée Bass that his EP “Medicinale” was released! It is in his musical laboratory lorry that Doctor Ganjah concocts a militant Dub Stepper with captivating melodies, ready to be shared live or in Sound System...

Depuis plusieurs années Culture Dub suit avec attention le travail de de Docteur Ganjah, après un superbe mix live dans la série "Culture Dub Jukebox", le producteur français déboule sur le label Culture Dub Records avec l'EP "Dynamite", deux nouveaux Stepper explosifs suivis de leurs versions Dub Steppa à faire trembler les Sound Systems, masterisé par Joss.B, en Free Download bien évidemment !

Docteur Ganjah a commencé la musique jeune de manière autodidacte (guitare, basse, batterie) en jouant du Rock / Métal de Nirvana à Metallica, de Téléphone à Korn etc… De ses débuts dans la MAO, au moment ou il découvre le Reggae, il commence à composer ses propres tracks “pour le délire” comme il aime à le dire, il enregistre et mixe ces moments partagés avec ses potes pour sortir l’album intitulé “Fils et ses amis”. I didn't know how to produce Tropical House or any type of Songs but I discovered a Video of my Idol @Matoma-official making Tropical House...and yeaahh that's all...I watched him and it seems to be pretty simple, and you know what ? It was ! I made this song in 4 Days and added Vocals at the end. Thanks Matoma for so much inspiration.

Here is a reimagining of a classic King Tubbys bit of Acetate Dubplate. There's a few floating around. Some in scratchy condition and a few worth listening to again and again. After getting a quality audio recording of one of the dubplates to realise this release never saw the light of day, we decided to approach Marshall Neeko to make a raw stripped back digi cut of the same riddim, at the same tempo and key. He then sent us the stems where we recorded some live synth and instrument parts, and sent it through desk with Space Echo and Grampian Spring Reverb. Here are 3 of 5 mixes done on the day! Patrick Andy on top form!!
