Sticky Tapes is a physical mix series for charity. All mixes will be available to buy on cassette or digitally with all proceeds going to the DJs charity of choice.

This is Sticky 005: Om Unit, about the mix he said "This mix is 90 mins of presence. A mix of mostly modern ambient music with a couple of old favourites thrown in for good measure to wind down in these strange times. Music that has kept me sane over recent years whilst travelling, and more recently during tough times. Your support for the tape goes to help the homeless charity 'Caring In Bristol'. Here in Bristol we have a sizable homeless population who need all the support they can get so your appreciation for the music is in turn appreciated by this fair city."

Asquith returns with another hi-NRG club destroyer. 'Let Me' EP is Asquith’s fourth release - another example of serious tekkers from the northern powerhouse. Written whilst travelling on a plane, it’s a clear homage to early UK rave and euphoric dance. Higher Power has already exercised the shutter lifting rights in the mighty Panorama Bar, while Terror Barrier is a nod to Happy Birthday era Modeselektor with that thumpin' 909 drum. Hoofin' kick drums and melodic xtc for the mind, killers breaks and rave ready artwork - Let Me will take you on a trip, heading right under the M25.

Boyfriend in Every City

Asquith is back for 2021 with a heavy selection of jungle, techno and hardcore tracks that dive deep into the sub-heavy rave continuum.

Following up a smattering of releases in pandemic year 2020 including Love Is A Mystery, Rave Til Dawn and Temple Runner, plus the scorching Acid Monkfish as Reehl and the deep diving You Know How Much You Mean To Me as Vanisher. Time Warp sets the tone for a year of renewal and further growth, channeling the influence of some of his Lobster contemporaries and an expansion into further sound development.

The EP opens with the title track 'Time Warp'. Weighty rhythmic low end  collides with glowing pads, vocal calls and MIT bleep synths in a techno-bass-bleep cross-genre melting pot. 'Back To Dannys (Ripped CD Mix)' evokes a past time of post-rave drives back to ya mates'. Semi-detached afterparty shenanigans, the original spirit of rave, baggy pullovers and keeping the party alive.

The flip side opens with 'Enter The Core', a classic Asquith booming warehouse techno number with glacial synths and stocky, plastic break chops. The EP closes out with 'Clapton Rider (Original Mix)'. A retro-leaning jungle number dusted off from the drafts and given a lease of life as the B2. A warm, breaks-heavy number for the close.
