Rebecca is a fucking monster my guy, trust me. Gaz told me james was playing and naturally because I am THEEE number one James Greenwood fan. In my studio, the only stickers on my GLORIOUS  YAMAHA monitors are Mafalda's legendary Tropic of Love, KERB, Raynans and SEMISKIMMED. This is from day one, these are stickers that me and my manager Day developed over tome, NOOOO thats where we started and thats where we still are. 

So I digress, when i got to The Bloc, I asked a head outside, because I hadn't slept, I had a played with a legend that is James Holroyd and I was still basking in my luck of knowing Boggie. I asked him, when is James playing, and he d=said, it is him now Levi. 

I got to the floor and he was playing a Nervous thing and I got to dance with Rebecca, her head was doing something akin to a musical time signature.

This track from scratch, was produced with Rebecca's head movements to James' beats on the floor at the block.

Respect to my Jewish manager, Gareth “Gazankulu” Davies for inserting the idea in my head when we were having lamb chops as fucking usual and also literally taking care of everything from sorting music at the house, to sorting CDJs and lending me his fantastic rotary mixer. Gazankulu was on form, I suspect his new  medication has made him kinder, he loves me but he absolutely carried the entire gig. I am grateful to have Gazankulu. 

Definitive respect and gratitude to Matt “Cosmik” for stepping in with his turntables because I didn’t read the contract from the Eagle INN, I just basically turned up. Cosmik was swift in proving everything we needed. The Jewish manager sent him a list. 

Mark “Shimza” Shimming, literally drove from the Isle of Man, when he phoned me on the Wednesday to say he was driving I just thought, why don’t you eat shit man, no one does that. He fucking did. HE stayed with me the whole weekend too. We had such a lovely time. We used to share a studio in Manx together. My vinyl was produced there. Shimzozo did everything, from lifting decks to looking after equipment when we were dizzy outside. Gazankulu again “My decks are worth at least 5 grand so we are not leaving them unattended” Shimza was like, “I will look after them, you guys can go outside” 

Earlier in the day Lukas “Anti Bodmas” Stankunas literally travelled all the way to help me sort out the digital side of things. I have missed him. 

On the vinyl Preparation, this took a few days and a few fights and lots of Booze interspersed with anxiety attacks, Ntate Molemela’s grand child Tshegofatso “Fatso Bones” Marapo spent at least three days going through records with me. He knows my bag and he knows house music and we absolutely had a special time. I have formidable two bags now.

Bambi “The Squid” always on the love front. Absolute gee and he never moved he stayed with me throughout the set. We picked him up on the way and I was nervous wanting the taxi driver to crash so I go to A&E and not have to DJ, Bambi was just like “You will be fine my love” He is beautiful and he is single I think, hide everyone, The Squid is on the loose. 

Of course the people that came to dance, I will write their story separately one day but the support I got from my friends, patching every aspect of the gig together like we were in the township, really touched me, I remembered why I play tunes. It was always about love, support and bliss. 

Gazankulu aka man of the match recorded the set and I am sharing it with you. I love the fact that it is not perfect and you can tell at points I was in the toilet or speaking to
People hence there is no
mixing. Also Gaz’s mixer had some fault or I didn’t understand it so at some point the recording stops. I am sharing the mix as it was, didn’t even correct the levels. Raw Vibes. It will take me a long time to play like this again.

I was working on two killer tunes and someone walked into my studio and cast aspersions looking at my desktop. It was filthy, I couldn't even prepare for gigs anymore. I moved them but forgot where I put them Abelton couldn't find them either. I was really in the mood to make tunes so I decided to start this in the hope that one day those files will be found. I needed to produce. I had a beautiful time with Sofia and I am wearing my new trainers. 

Balance is impotant and so is the potrayal of Justice, I say potrayal because we are not fit enough to claim comprehension of that word otherwise there would be no Palestine. 

As I say to Marley sometimes. "This tune is bad news brother"

Bad bad news, I can't stop dancing to it, every-time it goes past 2 minutes I forget i did it. Every fucking time. 

I am hoping my nerdy friends will do it JUSTICE engineering wise, I am mean I can't find computer files so of course my engineering skills are rudimentary at best and terrible at worst.

So I played a gig in Spain, Alicante to be specific, for Villasonora.
After my set, Miyugi played a really deep tune and I asked for it. I went and got him from his car with my laptop. Indeed he gave it to me.
I got home and did a remix off the back of a love time I had in Alicante!!!
