Fundamental Harmonics is back in solo with "Source EP", an abundant flow of evolving patterns and harmonies taking forms in 3 solid tracks, 3 strong currents that will carry your soul towards rarely explored soils.

"Source" is a radiant, positive Techno-House composition. Little by little the track uncovers its melodic theme, when a simple yet deeply touching piano takes the lead . This is it, the source is pouring and spreading down from the speakers. And who never enjoyed drinking fresh water directly from the source??

"Salamandre" brings us more into a techno ritual groove. The structure is minimal and whirling, the rhythmic shapes and arrangements are at work to build a rolling hypnotic vibe. The atmosphere here is getting tense and brings an ascendant flow of energy.

To finish, "Club Of Rome" arrives like a slap in our face, with its vicious bass and electro beat with no concessions. It samples the voice of Asmus Tietchens, aka Club Of Rome, an avant-garde experimental german composer. The title of the track refers also to the Think-Tank named Club Of Rome that predicted the limits of global economic growth in a world with finite resources.

The zodiacal light, or false dawn, is one of the most rarely observed objects in the sky. A faint, roughly triangular, diffuse white glow seen in the night sky that appears to extend up from the vicinity of the Sun along the ecliptic or zodiac.

It can be described as a slight concentration of sunlight reflected off the interplanetary dust, and is opposite to its colleague, the Gegenschein, which forms a slightly more luminous, oval glow directly opposite the Sun within the band of the zodiacal light.

"Zodiakhal" opens the release with a bumpy groove. The haunting bass is based on 3 main notes, and those 3 easily joins the 4-4 structure to create an inviting galloping rhythm. In the second part an eerie swing extracted from a night-crickets recording will let you have a glimpse of the Zodiacal light.

[It's important to note that in this EP there is a recurrent inclusion of nature field recording. Not obvious, rather short and subtle samples from ambient sounds recorded in north thailand. River sound as a white noise, temple bell as a percussion, birds tone, footsteps in the forest etc....]

"Ace of Swords" takes position on the trippy techno side. The Zodiacal light is spreading through the skies, and so a twirling synthetic bass opens a path to a cosmic gateway with more synthetic sounds. The light traveling at the speed of the razor edge of the celestial sword.

"Southern Sky" the luminous aura arrived in the austral zodiac. New territories exposed to be observed and discovered. Unusual sounds, voice-likes short samples, tapping drums, it's now time for the exploration to begin...

LEPTON QUARK Records is made of audio& further vibrations. It’s mission is to deliver immersive, cosmically transfigurated music.
ELECTRONIC MUSIC WITH SOUL, AUDIO WITH A VISION.
Our inspirations: 90’s Techno (UR, Mills, Hood, Carl Craig, Kenny Larkin…), Ambient, Sci-fi comic strips and movies, Anticipation novels, Nouvelle vague, Film noir… The overall sound will be propelled towards a dark, enigmatic and also funky atmosphere.

Fact 1: Lepton and Quarks are the fundamental particles, the building blocks of the matter.
Fact 2: Quarks came up with weird names such as Up, down, Charm, Strange, Bottom and Top. Well somehow that sounds quite similar to the elements composing a dancefloor crowd, isn’t it. Life is full of quarks.
Fact 3: Electrons are composed of Leptons. So without leptons, no electronics. No leptons, no electronic music. In such a fact, we must praise them.

Now think about Lepton Quark as a radio-telescope scanning various areas in, through and from the outer space. IThere is the capture of this nebular cloud here, and the tracking of a cruising stellar object there. Meanwhile, we received a cryptic sequence which we are still trying to analyze.
 
We got the audio prints and we gonna release them on LEPTON QUARK!!!

LEPTON QUARK is founded by Baptiste Mauerhan AKA FUNDAMENTAL HARMONICSs, who released around 20 tracks since 1999, on CHRONOBRAIN (CHRIS CARRIER’s techno label) F-COMMUNICATIONS (One track signed by LAURENT GARNIER for "Megasoft Office 2005" LP) and an auto-produced LP distributed by BELIEVE DIGITAL in 2005——————


First release LPK001 reached in july the top 10 on Whatpeopleplay.com, was a top-seller in Tech-house category. Received warm feedbacks and support from Slam, Renato Cohen, Dirt Crew, Angel Molina, Acid Pauli, Joris Voorn, Bushwacka, Patrick Zigon, Kisk, Luca Doobie, MKL, Nicolas Masseyeff.

5 release on Lepton Quark made it to the top 10 Whatpeopleplay all genre since, "Ateshkadeh EP" by Fundamental Harmonics number 2 top seller in june 2014.

We 'll go ahead and release more deviant electronic music.
