It is overseen and curated by independent music lovers and supported by The Absolut Company, a brand that is permanently involved in the field of contemporary arts and creation with a tradition of supporting artists such as Keith Haring and Andy Warhol. The Absolut Remix project is dedicated to the art of combining or editing existing materials, to produce something new.

As a start, every last Friday of the month, we will unveil a new remix, from a newcomer or a legend, from disco to techno or IDM and house music. And more to come...

I was introduced to Abi at the end of 2010 through a mutual friend - Johnny Dub who co-runs the excellent Manchester night hoya:hoya. Instantly I was blown away by her voice
I sent her some stuff that was on a slightly different tip to my usual beats. She dug it, sent it back - worked on it some more, Tobyjug was born and i'm glad to say it has been the start of a long working relationship and friendship.
 
We worked together a lot last year on her solo material and the year culminated in Abi flying to Berlin to work with Benjamin Damage and I on our recent album They!Live.
