LOST AGAIN

I have been in musical theatre since 2017. I must say it was the most significant thing that changed my life. After 5 years, I was the sound conductor at the backstage for the middle-school play "Peter and the Starcatcher."

After the show, I saw kids cuddling and crying because the show had ended. It reminded me of myself when I was their age. I was an innocent beginner in the musical industry who cried the hardest when every show ended. I understand them, because I was once a kid like them.

Our love for theater will never end.
The best is yet to come.

One random afternoon, I was scrolling over the old photo booth in my cabinet. Unexpectedly, I found the love letter my dad wrote to my mom. Through my dad's neat handwriting, I peeked into their romance as young teenagers when they were in college. When my dad went back to his hometown during the winter break, he missed my mom so much, so he wrote 31 letters every single night under the candlelight, describing his days and expressing his longing for going back. I cried for their love. My dad and mom in those old letters were so different from them that I see them every day. So I wrote this song, secretly, to celebrate their love that was still burning today.
