A (Bull city) North Carolina native born and raised ,who studies. the art of entertainment. Music has played a dynamic role in his life since he can remember. 30 years strong and still at it with a powerful ear for melodic rhythm, it determines his everyday emotion that leads him to pursue the entertainment world . Pytch Blaq is a musical ,choreographic genius before his time, with and old soul. Music idols such as Micheal Jackson , James Brown, Phil Collins all the way to R.E.M.. He was always a character that stepped out the box and didn't care what genre he listens to. From classical , to alternative music to everything in between . Since 1989 he studied the present then went back in history.. His passion for music goes back to when he was only five  years old, celebrating with family,singing and dancing  only fueled the flame .Which inspired him to start creating music of his own as he grew .
  Since 9 he went from listening  to engaging in instruments such as drums and keys which led him to start producing his own sound. Writing poetry was his passion before writing lyrics . First listening to krs-one  and realizing that he wants his music to have a meaning behind it. He wanted to make his own path . He has a saying "Originality pays ". His creative mind , and powerful  bass tone voice allows him to be in a league of his own.  Smylez is currently a producer, songwriter, choreographer , vocal specialist, bandmate ,and has collaborated with over 60 artist and counting within his path of chasing his dream. And he's not Stopping for anything.
