The Abuser's Song addressed Domestic Violence, a topic that is pushed under the rug by many but yet affects our society in a o many ways.  Families are being destroyed, the mental capacity of children are affected and the list goes on.  What makes this a serious issue is that it can be easily masked and usually the victims seem helpless to it.  This song was written to address the ugly side of this lifestyle, to cause awareness of the deceitfulness of it.  The Abuser's Song addresses the plight of most women in a abusive situation who find themselves totally controlled or reliant on their abuser to the point where they choose to be beaten or verbally abused rather than get out of the situation.  This plays right into the Abuser's hands because it allows him to bite and sooth at the same time.  This creates a kind of confusion in the victim's mind... "he loves me... he loves me not".  The song addresses the side of domestic abuse that is never talked about  Most times we see women as always being the victim of this lifestyle.  Men can be affected because they are the stronger gender physically, basing this is inherently bias and based on a conviction that domestic violence only takes the form of physical beatings.  Verbal abuse is also a form of domestic violence and can be just as harmful.  Men are very much affected by abuse from that angle.  This side of abuse is almost if not totally ignored but gravely affects family life and society.  The Abuser's Song confronts domestic violence head on.  It is like a mirror to both the abuser and the victim.  It paints the ugly picture of domestic violence but if you listen keenly the solution to this lifestyle is right in this song.  Jah Bless.
