"Hi, I’m LERRUIQ, a US-based Drum & Bass producer! Living stateside in Austin, TX, I’ve been grateful to be surrounded by kind, supportive people in the drum and bass scene. Knowing the opposite exists however, is why being a queer, womxn in this industry carries a lot of purpose and weight in my work. To me, being an artist is about answering the question: how can I foster genuine connection? That’s hard to have without an accepting, uplifting and respectful environment and to see communities like Unorthodox making impactful changes is incredibly inspiring. It’s a true privilege to live during a time where representation is so important, so if any of my work makes someone’s day better, I’ve succeeded. Music is universally healing and fundamental to who we are - the space we share it in should always reflect that!"

In honor of my Dad, I released this on his birthday of February 8th. If it wasn't for him, I wouldn't even know music in the way that I do. This will forever be the first song I ever released.
