The picture you see is one Steph took of our concert at the Bonnefooi on March 27. But what you're listening to isn't from that concert. It's from a jam session we recorded two weeks before that. Since everything's made up on the spur of the moment, it's probably different from what we did on March 27. We don't know. We can't remember. Because, like all those other precious little moments we don't capture or record, it's simply faded away.

Ce que vous voyez est une photo prise par Steph pendant notre concert au Bonnefooi le 27 mars. Ce que vous entendez n'est pas ce concert, car il n'en reste aucune trace. Ce que vous entendez est la répétition enregistrée deux semaines plus tôt. Comme c'est de l'impro totale, c'est probablement très différent de ce que nous avons fait le 27 mars. Mais nous n'en savons rien, nous avons oublié. Comme nous oublions les petits souvenirs agréables que nous n'avons pas pris en photo.

Les Antonymes is a variable-geometry band. No two concerts are the same. The same piece is never played twice, or at least not in the same way. You can expect craggy soundscapes, meandering melodies, and the occasional groove to stir things up a bit (although you won't know which foot to dance on).

Les Antonymes est un groupe à géométrie variable. Aucun concert n'est pareil au précédent, l'idée étant de ne jamais rejouer deux fois le même morceau, en tout cas pas de la même manière. Attendez-vous à des paysages sonores escarpés et des mélodies sinueuses, mais aussi à du groove qui remue, même si vous ne saurez pas toujours sur quel pied danser.
