BIOGRAPHY 

Lester Smith is a singer- songwriter, guitar player and harmonicist who currently fronts the legendary band Crowbar.  He is often a guest player with Hamilton's R &B veterans Trickbag, Mark McNeil and James Anothy among others.  His original songs have been recorded by Suzie Vinick,  Quartet (Sylvia Tyson) and the Whitley Brothers to name a few.  Smith's songs, recorded with Trickbag on their 'Tricknology' album,  have been featured in various TV Netflix series such as 'One Tree Hill, Swamp Thing (DC Comics), Chicago Fire, New Girl, and others. 
Les founded The Hamilton Regional Songwriters Group which meets monthly.  
His solo acoustic and duet shows feature humorous tunes and poignant ballads.  He writes funky blues and country flavored tunes with thought provoking lyrics. 
  He covers the musical spectrum infusing his songs with virtuosic harmonica playing and solid acoustic guitar picking.
