Such a pleasure to get these two on the series. Malouane and Sam Goku have become the kind of guy I often find myself listening. And I secretly and tremendously appreciated the taste and built for music. These guys are great producer for sure but they come to transpose their art into proper sets that make as much sense here online as on real life with a proper floor to welcomes the kicks.

Tech Support always finds a groove in everything he touches. Be that through his DJ sets, mixes or his own productions, there's a rhythmic fluidity and depth that always guides his way.

He never confines himself to one sound or style but there's a distinct nod to the 80s in his influences and output; be assured you'll find lashings of Italo, vintage darkwave, euphoric house and slo mo chug when he's behind the decks or laying it down in the studio.

His work rate as a producer has been on the up over the last few years. If he's not sharing his solo work, which has formed releases for Nocturne, Together Alone, Futureboogie, Silver Bear and, most recently Ano Ano, he's crafting his own self-released edits and reworks of legendary new beat, new wave and Italo Disco tracks like 'Burning Down The House', 'Je Suit Passee' and 'Drop The Deal'. Lately he's been making music under another alias, Asa Tate, with a track penned for this year's Rhythm Section SHOUTS compilation. 

For his Shine A Light On mix, he dives into the sounds we've come to know him for: there's revving Italo, hypnotic Goa, groovy acid not acid and dusty progressive trance. Dig in...

A music journalist since 1994 and DJ since ’97, Marc began playing records at the legendary Nitsa Club (Barcelona) in 1999, becoming a mainstay resident since then.

After more than two decades playing extra long sets and state of the art warm-ups for the biggest names in the game he eventually decided not to fit into any particular style and embraced a chameleonic way of DJing which enables him to swing comfortably between genres, ultimately being able to play almost any kind of music or venue without compromising the quality of his sets —a rare ability nowadays.

While being “simply” a resident DJ might seem not that cool today, this is how Marc learned to make smooth transitions between very different acts and able to maintain the energy of the dance floor while keeping the ego in check and focusing in the crowd. Marc believes that adapting to the environment while also taking the crowd by surprise is one of his biggest assets.

After many years focused solely on DJing and refining his technique and style to the highest standards, Marc stepped forward into production, becoming involved with John Talabot’s label Hivern Discs, where he releases his own productions. In addition, he’s been busy producing a wide array of remixes (The xx, Colder, Save! and many more) and with C.P.I., his project with Hugo Capablanca where he’s been able to explore in a more experimental direction fusing leftfield, trance, electro or new beat.

With his name finally getting the recognition it deserves outside his native Spain, Marc plays at some of the world’s top clubs, including Panorama Bar, Lux, Robert Johnson, Trouw, and Space Ibiza, to name just a few.

LAYER number three-o-five displays MArc's interest in the atmospheric side of clubbing, drifting from ambient via submissive melodies for the meek, all the way to harsher dom club sounds.

Khidja is not a DJ group, but rather a duo of electronic music producers from Romania, consisting of Andrei Rusu and Florentin Tudor.
