On its third release, @Deviant-Disco-1 continues to dig up lesser known gems of various origins with a hot batch of four brand new edits. The French rarities label sticks to its peculiar aesthetics and welcomes you once again to an enthralling musical trip — starting with Tchamy Patterson’s groovy & percussive afrobeat only to spiral into Barnes' and Ygalove's hypnotic The Mongol Raid slow-mo trance edit and steering from La Décadanse's tropical and sensual rework of vintage hit Amazoniaque all the way down to Éric Vincent's obscure 80s French erotica.

'The Mongol Raid' is the result of Deviant Disco's new beat connoisseur Ygal Ohayon (@trashdisco) aka Ygalove teaming up with mysterious producer Barnes (from Barnes & Wobble). Ygal bumped into a trancy, unmarked german white label from the 90s ; he pulled the age-old 'oops — wrong speed' 33 RPM trick and waited for Barnes to come along with his magic scissors. With the cheeky addition of an oriental synth going properly bananas, their collaboration gave rise to this entirely rebuilt, borderline industrial tune. A wholesome slow trance monster!Release

Barcelona based producer Adwer returns to his Bolygó Records imprint in 2020 with five alluring cuts entitled ‘Our Genome’ EP with remixes from Amandra and Marc Piñol.

Adwer has left his mark on the overall electronic music scene in the last few years through his melodic leaning productions that’ve picked up support from the likes of Sasha, John Digweed, Joris Voorn and Laurent Garnier. Adwer aims to capture emotion within his music with his synth focused tracks and euphoric vibrations that continue to solidify his reputation of being a purveyor of innovative sound design and gentle sonics. ‘Our Genome’ EP sees him deliver the first release of the new decade on his Bolygó label where he invites remixes from the Ahrpe Records label boss and French producer Amandra and Spain’s Marc Piñol who is renowned for releases on John Talabot’s Hivern Discs imprint.

‘Messing with the DNA’ begins proceedings with thudding kicks, growling bass rolls and dreamy oscillations fluttering underneath before ‘Recombinant’ deploys undulating euphoria through tranquil tones, deep vibrations and progressing synth notes that unravel escapist intentions.

Amandra’s remix of ‘Recombinant’ lays focus on raw, crunchy percussion, lo-fi experiments and murky pads that keep you locked throughout whereas Marc Piñol’s remix of ‘Messing with the DNA’ offers up electro-styled grooves, cosmic waves and acid-tinged oscillations that carry outer space feels. ‘Our Genome’ then rounds things off with meandering, 80s styled synths, ethereal, revolving modulations and rumbling bass frequencies to finish.

French Andres Komatsu release his first EP in NUFF Records with a crossing point between EBM and electronic music.  Integrally composed with hardware, chasing a sound that fluctuates between techno roughness and the played pulse of a band, influences of new wave, synth pop and dark disco stand out, wrapped up in an suspense halo of policial film noir.
One of remixes from this EP that we present you today coming up from German man Fringe Society who goes out to gleam his dub and experimental side and deliver a remix full of texture and maddening sounds, hi hats that come and go, electrical beats running from one side to the other. Choosing the most bewitched notes, he plunges us in a freaky hypnotic trip, full of characters who appear and hide between shadows.

Höga Nord Rekords proudly presents Frak! Frak was formed in the southern coastal town of Karlskrona by Jan ”Zwarre” Svensson, Björn Isgren and Johan Sturesson in 1987.  Zwarre is also founder of the legendary experimental electro label “Börft Records” which through the years has gained both national and international recognintion.
From the beginning, Frak stood for an alternative to the hair metal hegemony of their hometown Karlskrona where they, in the early days got chased from venues by the locals. “The rednecks hated us” Isgren told Resident Advisor in an interview made some years ago. However, unlike Poison, Fraks sound is still appealing and “Ternary Fission EP”, as well as all their earlier releases has all the elements necessary for a sophisticated electronic act: dark and suggestive electro and techno!
If you need musical compositions for the stranded atomic submarine U-137, test flights of the Swedish fighter jet JAS 39-Gripen, the Soviet space programme, the first manned mission to Mars or the transition to the bunker society, Frak is a strong and valid option!
