The beach was a beautiful place of peace and paradise. In the sky above the birds cruised casually on the breeze. They looked down upon those who baked in the light of the sun below. The golden sand flickered in the glow of the warm afternoon and the gentle ripple of water was the only sound to be heard. The island was a paradse, a spectacular place of beauty and mystique. It would become their sanctuary and soon life would begin.

Shortly after Aussteiger's successful debut, "Dub Disco" introduce their long time friends https://soundcloud.com/s-and-w on board for their second release with an EP full of lovely analogue sounds. It surely stands in contrast to the first record and by that underlines exactly what Dub Disco is about: A journey through the vastness of electronic music.                 
 "Cashmere Green" here premiered is the opener on this EP. It's a true Nu-Funk, West-Coast influenced banger with a distant cosmic flair carried by meticulous and peculiar drums. Driven by a pending groove, this one invites the light into any dreamers ears and ensures your very own trippy dancefloor experience. On the flip, we dive into Wind up Bird. The track starts off as a scratchy and vibrant House track, riding on a funky bassline. It gets carried away by dreamy chords and breaks down into an incredible melancholic melody that will keep no eye dry. Finally there is Machine Love. An 80s influenced open air peak time party tool that will definitely put a smile on your face and a rocket in your pocket.

New York collective "Sheik N Beik" follow up a slew of lauded 12”s from Japan’s Keita Sano, Legowelt & Xosar and their previous effort from Hermans with the richly emotive return of Voiski. With a back catalogue of considerable depth, one that’s touched the likes of L.I.E.S and Delsin, Dekmantel’s ‘UFO’ series, Voiski’s latest offering carries with it a trademark degree of bite whilst remaining balanced with the sort of moody melodicism that fans both old and new will relish.  
"5th Dolphin Transmission"kicks things off with a tense sequence tumbling through granular drums and a staggered, luminescent synth line. "Let Down Disco" here premiered then dims the lights slightly with soft, buoyant melodies and flickering high frequencies that round off a nicely varied release and another solid addition to the Sheik N Beik catalogue.

Perched on a crossroads, Pin Up Club approaches electronic music with a magpie’s nature. A spread of styles has been picked, plucked and plundered to make ‘Friends Of The Vortex’. The title piece snaps with clean beats as Blade Runner bars build with an energy that can only be described as palpable. Latin percussion and samples get the groove going for ‘Children Of The Void’. Flirting, the tone twirls and turns. Keys are big and full bodied, balanced perfectly by the crack of a snare. ‘Out Of The Unknown’ closes. A slow burning piece brimming with brooding cinematic shapes and strings, a work that shows the colder edge of this dutch duo. Quality through and through. Out mid-January on Bordello A Parigi !

Second round for french "In Any Case" imprint, still keeping it chopped and dusty, celebrating the sound of the almighty Rhodes electric piano through this 5 tracker wax slab. 
Opening this release is the fashionable parisian Tell with a cool house cut featuring some lush sample and a driving beat. Following is the label co-founder G2S' track "Amako" blending a strong backbeat with a groovy bass drums and chopped rhodes sample closing A side with a neat library style feeling. We've then got Malouane (co-founder too) opening the flip with a trippy tune including melty percussions on top of a jungly bassline. Succeeding, Manuel Nie from Germany with a Hip Hop- House crossover banging drums cutting through perfect rhodes samples. Finally, Ibn Sabaa is closing the V/A with a mean head-nodding modern Hip Hop groove that will doubtlessly wreck your neck.

accompanying remixes by techno kingpins, Kirk Degiorgio and Aubrey.

All 3 pieces of music offering up something different to the next, from tracks full of textures and groove to straight up
peak time techno.

Rico Casazza’s (https://soundcloud.com/ricocasazza) sonic identity is like that of a city, one which has developed an undeniable self-ness as it hosts various
movements and is rocked by various events, leaving a core self that is still open to change, but sturdily, defiantly clear.
The musical nomad focusses heavily on techno and electro, but he is more easily recognised through that
aforementioned, ineffable character, the humorously self-professed electronic emo; Casazza never fails to imbue his
work with a wistfully pulsating heart.

Kirk Degiorgio is one of the most sought-after mixers/producers/Dj in today's eclectic dance music scene. Steering
away from musical clichés and sticking to his soul-boy roots, he has managed to maintain his musical integrity over the
years Having recorded under numerous aliases including As One, Elegy, Esoterik, Critical Phase, Family Values, SuperA-Loof,
The Off World Ensemble and his current most expansive project, The Beauty Room with the vocalist Jinadu.
Having run the ART label and the Op-ART label in the early 90s he released seminal early material by artists such as
Carl Craig, Aphex Twin, Stasis, and The Black Dog.

Aubrey first started recording in 1990 for Sheffield label Ozone Recordings under the name of Panic. His music tastes
are very varied with his first love of Hip Hop as a teenager, moving quickly onto the emerging Acid House scene from
Chicago and then to Detroit Techno and New York House. A career lasting over 30 years, both as a recording artist and
Dj, Aubrey has toured the world and released music on seminal labels Metroplex, Ostgut Ton, Sistrum, Ferox and
Mosaic to name but a few.
