Sam Goku returns to Atomnation with a stunning debut album titled East Dimensional Riddims. The 11 track record is a journey into his hugely characterful club sound complete with ambient and subtle use of instruments from his Chinese heritage.

Sam Goku - born Robin Wang - was born in Düsseldorf, yet his upbringing was Chinese for the most part. It is the contrasting influences of those two cultural backgrounds that play out in his music and lend it a truly unique character. The album is a fine fusion of East and West, house and techno, power and emotion that really showcases the unique production talents of Sam Goku.

East Dimensional Riddims opens with a gorgeous introduction. The bird calls and lush harmonies of 'The World We Enter' set the mood before 'Wedding Dance' rides on a joyous, pounding house groove and still manages to be deeply emotive with its heavenly melodies. 'Earlier Forms' is as weird as it is wonderful. 'Fisher's Theme' is another house cut that drives forward while also being filled with subtle sonic details, environmental sounds and hypnotic wind instruments. The album takes deep breaths through the beatless passages of 'Before I Knew' and 'Boarding Lights', however it is the blend between immersive soundscapes and standout club tracks like 'Fusing Bubbles', 'Flieger 2010' and the organic techno groove of 'Far Far Fantastic' that make East Dimensional Riddims a remarkable debut LP.

Following up on the EPs Tanggu, Every Step and Paradise Drum, this new album is the sound of an artist evolving, maturing and finding his own sound. It's a cohesive work that is as emotional as it is physical and thought provoking.

Shara Music comeback with the third reference in digital format, betting once again to offer total freedom to the artists in each work, obtaining an electronic delight even for those ears more demanding.
This time will be the Italian artist Tulioxi (Mattia Tuliozi) lover of the nu disco sound, who demonstrates a great ability to fuse different styles virtuously. Proving this, it presents this complete EP called Urban Beast, where we find in its three original tracks where they are interlaced with a variety of sounds that trap you until you hypnotize yourself during a cosmic journey through the most elegant electronics.
He is accompanied in this musical adventure, the well-known and respected Zombies in Miami, who offer a remix of the theme that gives name to this work, where he appreciates his great skill in taking us through labyrinths and endless spirals that betray that know-how so Staff that only they are able to get it.
Finally, but no less blunt, we find the debut of M.I.O., union of two artists recognized and closely linked to Shara Music, which with its remix of Time Time Damn! We are surprised with a cover letter that we are sure will not leave indifferent anyone.

‘Assassin’ shoots to kill with its pranged-out toplines, gloriously wonked-out bass hooked and slurred vocal elements while 
‘Manethon’ trips out on a broken note and melts into one of Sebastien’s most magically far-out breakdowns to date.

Debut Ep of Andrem, the new solo project of Andrés Gomez, better known for being 50% of Mexican duo FLXXX, who released two years ago what still is one of Playpal's favorite Ep's on the catalogue and has also released music under the alias 'Ands Mega'. The title track of the Ep, 'Ascensión', is a dancefloor banger, club tested throughout this year and as is often the case nowadays, it’s reminiscent of the 90’s but leaves you feeling it’s a ahead of it’s time. 'Side B' 'Vendetta' is a dub and dark mental track that will do some damage both in the early hours of the night and the morning. On remix duties we have Rigopolar, whose track 'Numbskin' on Play Pal's five year compilation was one of the most charted, and this time he has delivered an absolute killer remix of 'Ascensión', with endless synth mental sequences. Next up is french producer daWad, part of the well known La Dame Noir crew, who also released a very welcome Ep on Play Pal alongside his partner Mokic. He’s taken the track in a completely different direction but equally effective on the dancefloor, with a broken beat constantly pushing the track from beginning to end. Play Pal Music honcho, Teniente Castillo, turned 'Vendetta' into an orgy of guitars, both electric and acoustic, with a fat synth as the conductive element throughout the entire track, whilst retaining the 'suspense' film flavour of the original version. Then finally we're happy to welcome to the label Lithuanian duo Roe Deers, who took the darkness of 'Vendetta' a step further, adding a sick arpeggio when you least expect it, making it one of our favourite remixes.
