Maestro and Tabache are great friends and met in August 2022 for the last time before Maestro left Bologna and returned to live in Germany. So they decided to meet in Maestro’s studio to say goodbye for the last time and do their first jam session.

When tabache arrived he repeatedly pushed the doorbell (track1 “Campanello”), then entered and found in Maestro’s house also his young brother Trombetta that therefore casually joined in the jam. They played all day till night, stopping just for a pizza (track 2) ordered in the “Favela” (track 3) restaurant under their house.

The EP is nothing more than the documentation of the 3 most intense moments of those hours.

It was all composed with analog instruments, some old organs, one ms-20, some samplers, Elektron RYTM and some weird synths.

Le prestigieux magazine britannique i-D parle de We Love Green en ces termes : l’événement parisien qui montre comment les Français sont très bons pour organiser des festivals. Et c’est vrai qu’il est difficile de résister à l’attrait de We Love Green qui se tiendra cette année du 31 mai au 2 juin, toujours dans le Bois de Vincennes. Déjà parce qu’il porte au cœur de son projet la question de son impact environnemental. 
L’année dernière, le festival est devenu entièrement végétarien, parvenant à réduire encore sensiblement son bilan carbone. Mais si on se presse dans le Bois de Vincennes tous les ans c’est bien sûr pour profiter de cette programmation irrésistible qui mêle grandes sensations internationales et nouvelles tendances.
Burna Boy, Ninho, Josman, SZA, Luidji. Mais aussi Peggy Gou, Kaytranada, qui sortira un nouvel album le 7 juin, Justice, Four Tet, L’impératrice, Eddy de Pretto, ou encore badbadnotgood, Kabeaushé et AMS, la jeune Parisienne de la scène house qui monte, et que nous avions déjà reçue aux platines à Tsugi Radio. C’est votre programme tout de suite sur Tsugi Radio, AMS pour un DJ set avec plein d’exclusivités, et de clins d’oeil appuyés à la scène house française. Un chouette mix concocté rien que pour nous. La Mano returns to his Sound Du Jour label with an emotive three-tracker.

The title track on La Mano’s ‘Fabricca’ EP is a deep and evocative piece featuring heavy-duty reverbs, distant snares and gorgeous arp melodies. ‘Fabricca’ marks La Mano’s return to his Sound Du Jour label, following his 2021 ‘Tarvisio’ EP, which launched the label, and a remix for MAN 2.0’s ‘Synapse’ on the imprint shortly after. Since then, he has gone on to release a remix for Man Power on Me Me Me and work on releases with the likes of Andy Ash, Marcus Christiansen and Demetae via Sound Du Jour.

‘Fiume’ is up next on La Mano’s ‘Fabricca’ EP. It’s an ever-evolving dreamscape on an electro tip, digitised birdsong occasionally breaking through its vibrant layers of harmony. This is before ‘Onda’ closes out the release via rich pads, a gated vocal, and club-ready drums. It’s the perfect finish for another versatile and melodic offering on Sound Du Jour.

Vertigini is the alias of a prodigious talent. To date, Arthur Mukharlyamov’s infectious hooks have only been available digitally. Bordello A Parigi are more than excited to give this analogue alchemist his full vinyl debut. Four tracks make up the aptly named Thunder. The title piece rumbles from speaker cones, thick banks of bass and crisp rhythms crack before smooth strings give way to flashes of melodic radiance. Inspiration lies in the heavens with this EP, he’s leaving the bonds of earth for “Galaxy Funk”. Textured percussion is cut with acid grooves while generous breaks fuel this expedition. A fierce arpeggiator immediately ignites the flip, lancing beats pierce this burbling bulwark as honeyed notes melt in the muscled sweetness of “Final Space”. The journey back to Earth is imminent, but not without one final fun-filled flurry. Rich drum patterns are the foundation for the sticky groove of “Space Trip”. Vocals echo skyward while Vertigini weaves a dancefloor delight to ease re-entry to reality.

French producer Arsonye is back on his Minitel Records imprint with five uplifting, sunny house cuts entitled ‘Panama Lovers’.
Arsonye is a French House music producer from the city of Tours who started producing and performing as a DJ while living in South America in 2014-2015. While living in Uruguay, Arsonye composed and self- released his first EP “Out of the Blue” before moving back to France where he founded Minitel Records with his long-time friend and producer WARNG. The label is united by a passion for the sounds of their childhood consisting in promoting electronic music inspired by the 80s and 90s. Since its creation, the label has released music from international artists including Billy Mays Band, Robert Quester, Red Soda and Stilz.

‘Panama Lovers’ is a reference to the Panama Papers scandal. It is Arsonye’s contribution to restoring the country public perception. As an international trade hub and the host of many corporate subsidiaries, Panama is a place where a lot of foreigners come for business and only stay for a couple of days. In his EP “Panama Lovers”, Arsonye has imagined an impossible romance in Panama, in which two lovers try to catch each other but time is of the essence in this place where many are just passing by...

‘Upon Arrival’ kicks things off with beautiful leads and inspiring synths underneath a luscious bass line and delightful keys before ‘Calling You’ fuses sunshine-soaked atmospheres through irresistible melodic stabs, uplifting piano chords and warming pads that gracefully envelop throughout. ‘Business to Business’ is a low slung house cut with laid back grooves, inviting melodies and punchy acid pulsations whilst revolving synth flutters, breezy tones and restorative vibrations in ‘Laundry Love’ immerse the listener through to the end. ‘Papers’ exquisitely rounds off this gorgeous EP with chugging drums, deep 303 bass notes and oceanic softness that’s a common feature throughout the whole release
