Mo.Ya.G is the brain child of Yalopa and Deep Moodsetter, they made their first appearance on BIG Speaker earlier this year with 'Can You Dance' and now they're back with 'House Music (All Night Long)' a deep soulful affair with all the old skool influences which you'd expect from a BIG Speaker release. Hablando comes correct with a late night work out too for good measure. One for the basement clubs and the lights down low.

Electronic music has always been filled with innovative individuals. Tribe Records label head Dean Zepherin is a musician, producer and DJ who really does boast an appeal like few others. Renowned for consistently pushing genres to the edge, he is an artist of many different sounds and styles, who’s colourful and diverse approach continues to enthral clubbers and music heads across the globe. Born and raised in West London, he spent time in the creative hub of Berlin, now residing in the musically rich city of Melbourne. A pioneer and an innovator, he continues to push genres forward. Making music for a double decade, he’s had outings on Local Talk, Visions Recordings, No Fuss, Vega Records, Defected, Suol and Jack Trax.

Tribe Records, although initially a vehicle for Zepherin’s solo productions and collaborations, has hosted works from a diverse range of artists from across the globe. In December they presents the second edition of ‘Soulful Culture’. The concept delves into the Tribe vaults pinpointing some of the finest soulful electronic gems from the labels storied past. On this album Zepherin has given them a well deserved new lease of life combining them with some of his most cherished and inspirational records from his DJ sets over the years. The whole compilation is an inspired combination of soulful diversity featuring tracks which come from vastly different times, places and experiences, yet blend together perfectly.

Stepping up to the production plate are some of the most sublimely talented producers on the planet - Larry Heard, Louie Vega, Spinna, Patrice Scott, Kai Alice, Ashley Beedle, Teddy Douglas, Trinidadian Deep, Timmy Regisford, Alex Attias and Arnold Jarvis. On‘Soulful Culture Volume 2’, these legends stand side by side with names from across the musical world who over the last few years, have begun to carve their own niche including Nathan Adams, Jose Carretas, Mi Casa, The Lounge Lizards, Deep Soul Syndicate, Oral Deep, Filipe Narciso and Devoted. From deep percussion fuelled beats, through to hypnotic acid-tinged heaters, to broken beats and deep soul bearing vocals, this is an album which is quite simply brimming with depth and warmth. It’s a collection curated by someone who’s many years of knowledge, experience, and passion, all come together to deliver something truly special.

FATE AND FICTION's 9th various artist EP is loaded with six tracks that musically vary between House, Deep House, Rave and Techno. Again, the Bristol-based crew rounds its artist rooster up to deliver some pre Christmas heat in form of music to melt away. Ben Gomori, who joined the label as G. Markus . last time, probably delivers the most rave-ish take of the EP as the track title, It's Just Another Rave, suggests. However, Gomori's track is not just another rave but a musical approach to remember since the track's chords brush over the Housey-bass line with a heavy filter-esque break that surely does some harm to the floor it's played out.

FAFEP009 will be released on FATE AND FICTION on December 10th, 2021.

Beautifully closing the record is Alastair Lane, who demonstrates his love for japanese disco on Tokyo Love Affair. This lush production is sexy and groovy a plenty, the way any Frappé record should be.

Frappé is set for a powerful finish of the year, welcoming the great S3A as a very special guest on its 6th Various Artist EP The Godbanger to be released on December 10th. Alastair Lane, one of the hottest young talents to emerge from Paris in recent years co-stars the EP with the French funky House music don, pursuing Frappé’s tradition to bring together well-established producers and future stars of the French scene. For the party to be complete, the two guests are joined by the label co-founders Ten Fingerz and Basile the Suresnes, with the 4 artists placing The Godbanger under the sign of funk and disco, for a 5-track EP that will have you booty-shaking all night.

S3A aka Sampling As An Art contributes strongly to the record with 2 exclusive tracks that would likely be played at Studio 54 if the club was still open in 2021. The French producer is at its best with uplifting vocals and basslines on Work for NYRK and scorching trumpet loops on Slump. Put your boogie shoes on and get the party started.

Ten Fingerz’ Rue du Fonk sounds like there’s a funky house party happening around your block and you’d almost expect B-Boys to pour out of the speakers. These sirens, clavinet and trumpet loops will llikely get your head banging before you notice it.

Basile de Suresnes shows his amazing sense of groove on Get Back, a pure house music anthem with sharp drumming and a Chic-like bassline that will keep disco balls glittering until the morning comes.
