We have the premiere of the Luke Vibert remix and the prolific techno producer has gone to town on 'One Sound'. Expect an erratic, demonic and frankly bonkers edit that incorporates squelchy basslines, sharp vocal cuts and beautifully staggered drums. Check it.

PT003 sees Planet Trip take a Trans -Tasman journey to Wellington, NZ for a new EP from the prolific Borrowed CS, alter ego of Lord Echo Drummer, Cory Champion.

All four cuts on the EP see his deft drum programming laying a foundation for a tough and diverse record. The A-side holds the percolating jack track ‘Balance’ and the bleepy cinematic synthwork trip “Ururangi”. Flip it over and you’ll find the infectious outsider boogie jam “ Mystic Shuffle” sitting comfortably next to the hazy and dubbed out club construction Ascend (Model 101). Practitioner has been active for well over a decade under numerous aliases - releasing field recordings, musique concrete and ethnic percussive sounds; with his electronic productions floating ambiguously between dubtechno, UKG and Romanian minimal.  

He recently released a 12” split on Lissoms records picked up by Ben UFO, Raresh, Moxie, Glenn Astro & more. Previously work included remixes with LFO, Mr Nex, Maximo Park and a slew numerous compilation appearances.  

As founder of Ghetto Method Berlin, under the Practitioner guise he has played at many notorious clubs across Berlin including a residency at the legendary Kunsthaus Tacheles alongside composing soundtracks for film and theatre including Call Me Reality and When I Dance amongst other projects.  

This album features five-time John Peel guest and Orbital vocalist, Lianne Hall on vocal duties.
