Ecstatic Peace is more than a musical offering — it's a proposition that peace and ecstasy can coexist on the dance floor. These tracks portray a yearning for better times, serving as both wishful thinking and a coping mechanism for producer Davin Varda.

Compelled to channel his frustration with the current state of affairs into a more constructive effort, Varda has created two powerful tracks. Find Peace in Every Way takes a deep dive into house music's past, recalling pianos, organs, and vocal manipulation techniques while giving the track a modern edge with a sub-aquatic bassline and crispy drums.

Is Ecstasy echoes this nostalgic sentiment, referencing both classic bittersweet '90s house anthems and elements from the heyday of Motown records. It's the perfect end-of-night tune, inspiring hands-in-the-air moments and dance floor embraces.

Together, these tracks offer a journey through time and emotion, reminding us of music's power to unite and uplift, even in challenging times.

lovetempo is the brainchild of Mattie Safer - singer and bassist for Poolside and The Rapture - and since its inception, Safer has moved with imagination and creativity, fusing saudade sentimentality and jazz-funk excursions, with modern dancefloor sensibilities. Through body, soul, and basslines lovetempo explores the triumphs and travails of the heart. His debut was released on Razor-N-Tape to great acclaim, and his recent single also on RNT, ‘But I Do’ - a collaboration with producer Dougie Stu of Brijean - stole hearts and ears this summer. Gilles Peterson was ‘raving’ about it on 6 Music and WWFM!
Returning with ‘Maybe In Another Life’, a slow-burn disco cut built around soaring strings, a relentless groove, and a question about what happens when the right people fall in love at the wrong time.  “Sometimes you meet someone and feel that electric jolt that happens when two kindred souls connect, but for whatever reason the circumstances of your lives don’t line up. What can you do but move on and in the words of Erykah Badu, say I guess I’ll see you next lifetime ”.
‘Maybe In Another Life’ is the perfect track for Saturday night warmups and Sunday morning listening sessions alike. The original is paired with a floor-friendly remix from feel-good disco producer Bosq, whose remixes and original productions have delighted dancers and received strong support from GP, Folamour and Kerri Chandler no less.

PREMIERE : Lovetempo - Maybe In Another Life

London based imprint and party collective Earthy Measures has been around since 2016, making terrestrial ruminations and humid vibrations,  bringing native planet songs made for open spaces, ears, hearts and minds to mingle and merge to.
The album ‘Patience’ is the debut release from Sun Sone, the project of London-born electronic producer Luke Martin. Drawing influences from hip-hop, downtempo, neo-soul, and trip-hop, the beginning of his inspiration came from the L.A Beat scene and the artists that stemmed from it like Flying Lotus, Clap Clap! Knxwledge, Jai Paul, Kutmah and Photay. 

Using percussive elements and instruments from different parts of the world, pressing them together to create a sound which is familiar but also alien. ‘Patience’ refers to the time it took to write, spanning 10 years while he honed his craft, the album is set to drop at the end of the year, these three singles will drop one a month ahead of the full release in December.

The first is Apogee  - Sometimes it’s nicer not understanding the lyrics. It means you can attach your own meaning to the music and hear the vocals as simply another instrument. There’s something personal about this. The guitar parts were reversed simply as an experiment, but it ended up informing the structure and melody of the song entirely. It was one of those beautiful and lucky moments where a single piece falls in the right place, and the rest of the track just flows in a stream of consciousness.

PREMIERE : Sun Sone - Apogee

After exploring talents in Europe, Mister T. records is returning with a blend of balearic and progressive house EP by Mahkina, formerly know as Alex Aguayo, from Mexico.

Mister T. records is extremely proud to unveil Alex Aguayo’s first release with his new alias Mahkina. Active for more than 7 years on the indie and electronic scene as Alex Aguayo, the Mexican DJ and producer is now introducing his new house / progressive project. “Sale Por El Corazon” stands as a clear definition of Mahkina : a tribute to the digital retro sounds and a hot touch of tropical/salsa style rhythms.

The four track EP opens with “Attraction Gravitionelle”, a clear dancefloor oriented track, evolving around a mesmerizing acid bass line and french vocals. The emotional breaks and drops add a layer of tension to the hottest tune of the EP.
“Good Old Moments” acts as a bridge between the change in Alex Aguayo style that could be seen in his latest release on Fauve Records and the actual Mahkina project. The balearic nostalgia is inherent to the sounds which remains a very sweet tool for dancefloors thanks to its fast rhythm and the warmth of the dub techno influenced stabs.
“Sale Por El Corazon” was produced a bit later after the other tunes by Mahkina yet it’s really what is giving the relevancy of the whole EP and then its name. Alex managed to capture the brute energy of the inspiration flow, waking up one day at 6am hearing the bass line in his mind and rushed to his PC to record the whole tune. On this track, Alex touched the raw essence of the first Detroit productions with the same influences coming from latin pianos and percussions.
“No Politics” concludes the EP with a beautiful and vibrant balearic house ballad giving space to aerial piano lines.

We´re stoked to announce the 7th release on Foresight Records this year. This release has been crafted by one of Nijmegen´s finest producers, Former Child. His production journey started over 10 years ago, before ever attending a club or rave. Through the years he got inspired by many types of electronic club music but is currently focused on the realms of progressive house, techno, and trance.

The EP culminates in a tasteful progressive trance workout called ‘’What I Want’’. The pumping bassline accompanied by trippy Arabic-inspired motives, showcases Formerchild’s interesting take on progressive trance.
