Here at WE FORFEIT, we are always on the hunt. Discounted bread, free wine, even the odd compliment, all are fair game and very much appreciated. When it comes to music, a certain furrowed brow of seriousness is employed. 
Through our shows, interviews and mixes, we’ve tried to present electronics with a difference, electornics that make a difference. To the snowy peaks of Canada with Solvent, to the dusty plains of Almería with Mynationshit, our objective is giving a greater audience to what is already great. This month is no exception.
Travelling even furhter, the furthest in fact, this month is dedicated to Featherstone. This Australian artist, a talent that has graced labels like Gated Recordings, Nebulae and his own Ernest’s Way. He has a full hour long mix that collects acid, braindance, electro and techno while giving you some of his own unreleased works. Fantastic stuff and thanks Ben.
Robbie is on warm-up and has some freshly baked releases alongside some golden classics.  You’ll have tracks from labels like 030303, D.Ko Records and Partout with musicians like Böhm, Reedale Rise and the incredible Ismistik featuring.

Globe-trotting ambient fusion supergroup Yayoba are set to release their debut album, 'A Maze of Glass' in May on @not-not-fun-1. "Transformation of the 3-Way Mirror" is a delicate slab of musique concrete adjacent ambience. Woodwinds, chiming percussion, field recordings, and electronic flourishes fill the vast spaces generated by the trio.

Kamila Narysheva aka milktea is one of the key artists of the contemporary Central Asian music scene.

As a DJ milktea believes that the dancefloor is a judgment-free zone and should be a place of power for everyone. This manifests through her approach to her music: playfully mixing diverse genres to create a welcoming atmosphere for everyone involved. She is an active advocate for equality and anti-sexism in creative spheres and music. Most preferable genres of milktea are: techno, guaracha, breaks, bass/club, dark disco, indie dance.

milktea not only performs at both local and international scenes but also strives to use her medium as a platform for addressing socially important matters. This commitment led her to found local party series for FLINTA artists called 'Don't Be A Dick’ (DBAD) with a line-up of femme-identifying artists exclusively. DBAD is a 100% non-profit charity event. All proceeds from DBAD go to charity, specifically benefiting women's shelters and associations for women's rights protection.

milktea’s also host a show about Central Asian music on Berlin's Refuge Worldwide radio station. It airs every three months and is mostly discursive and differs in topics. In this show she covers social and political issues, topics of gender and self-identity in Central Asia.

milktea has previously performed at Kolfest in Kyrgyzstan, Faust club in Seoul, South Korea, Collect, Santos in Lisbon, Portugal, Sahika and Noh Radio in Istanbul, Turkey, as well as many parties in Almaty, Kazakhstan, including 303 (with Pornceptual and Veselka), Shulama, Vihod and ZVUK as well as many night clubs in aforementioned Subject and Bult.

Vitaly Reznakov is an electronic music artist based in Essex in the UK. A collector of Hip Hop and Electro records from a very early age, he started producing his own music in 1990 with several vinyl releases under various aliases from 1991 until the early 2000's when circumstances lead to a move away from music and into a different artistic career for several years. After rediscovering his passion for making music he has ventured back into the electro scene, so far releasing an 8 track ep on Bandcamp and two releases on Amper Clap's Urban Connections netlabel with more music coming soon.

Which artists has influenced you the most? 

- As a kid in the early 80's I remember listening to Afrika Bambaataa, Twilight 22, Newcleus etc and thinking I want to make music like that one day... when I started producing with an Atari 1040 set up in the early 90's I was listening to Model 500, How and Little, Underground Resistance, Joey Beltram.

What new projects/releases with your participation are expected in the near future? 

- I have an ep “Polykube” to be released on Diffuse Reality later this year, and an ep I'm just finishing for another label that I can't disclose details of just yet.

Which artists/labels is more relevant to you now? 

- Too many artists to name, my mix should give a good indication of what I'm into... the same goes for labels, but I would say at the moment Cultivated Electronics, Mechatronica, Urban Connections are pretty solid.

What inspires you now to create music? 

- Dystopian sci-fi/horror movies and comics had a big impact on me when I was growing up and are always an inspiration for the feel of a track, but I'm not sure what inspires me on a personal level... I have ideas all the time so I guess just the ability to let other people hear what's going on inside my head is a good feeling.

What set-up do you use when creating music?

- Laptop with Reason 12 and a load of VST plugins... I'm old school so I like the fact I can flip the rack and visually patch instruments and effects together. I still have some original analogue synths (Roland Jupiter 6, Sequential Circuits Pro One) they are not midi'd up, but I sample from them now and then.
