Plaisance Records is proud to presents on 21th April 2023, »Bonjour", the first album of the french jazz-house duo De Phase,

Pablo Auguste and Kilian "K2" Rebreyend are De Phase. Accustomed to numerous jazz-funk-soul bands and formations, the two young musicians decided, back in 2021, to start their first project as a new duo : the result of their own background and their electronic aspirations. Initially conceived for live performance, De Phase was born on stage and grew on tour throughout France. Quickly enough, in front of an audience or in the studio, De Phase is unanimously appreciated.

Their first album, « Bonjour" is the result of years of touring, revitalizing their jazz, funk and soul background and experimenting in the studio. For their first piece of their discography, they deliver a 10-track album that formalizes their signature hybrid sound: a deliberate meeting of Max Graef's filtered-offbeat house and the ardour of the new English jazz and RNB scene. An album that also marks this convergence between the stage, the studio ; the acoustic and the electronic.

Surrounded by their close friends and long-time collaborators, 'Bonjour' is family affair. Starting with the participation of Guy Rebreyend, K2's own father, here on saxophone on the beat for "Mr. K", or his brother Matisse on the sweat RNB track "Honey Love". This is followed by many featuring, including the 2000’s RNB single "Obsessed" with Algerian-Norwegian singer Nancy Khadra and the French- Cameroonian singer Ndobo Emma. Singer Stace is also featured on 'When It Comes To Me', with Jeenko as co-producer.
Following the release of « Bonjour » De Phase is soon embarking on a 15+ date tour , including a date with Kamaal Williams, one at Jazz à Vienne and at the Festival Radio France.

Another summer comes to an end, and with it, we cherish the warm memories that will last forever. This time, we present two mixes of Breezy S`s Ocean Panorama. The first one is filled with energy and Italo vibes, perfect for club nights. The second is a version crafted for the euphoric afternoons and sunsets of festival season.

Ever since the first EP “Attic Edits” was released in 2012. The duo Moiety & Manik have been experimenting with a lot of different music projects and sounds. Even though the two long time friends have developed a more distinct and different style in their solo work, each time when they found time to jam together in the studio their energy was special and brought an interesting fusion. This resulted in their second EP “Voodoo Hoodoo” which was released on Rugged Society in 2021. While the first EP was clearly based on creative editing of lost and forgotten gems from the past (which got a lot of attention because of the track “You’re Gone” that seemed to blow up overnight), Voodoo Hoodoo was an EP that took a turn to electronic and tribal music with a unique take on it. Finally after 3 years the 3rd EP “YOU” is ready to be shared with the world. Again this is another turn in music style and as playful and creative as always, but now inspired by soul, hip hop and the electronic music they love. Enjoy!

'The Dreaming' starts off with a mystic atmosphere with breaky beats. It grows into a 4 to the floor rhythm that brings the people into the real moment before flowing back to dreaminess.

The 2nd track, 'Bandicoot', is an euphoric house anthem containing a deep rolling bass & classic Roland stabs. A floor filler designed to uplift the collective spirit.

The title track is a bassy and driving track produced for massive sound systems. Long & heavy bass lines are the soul of 'Shuffle Premium', accented by a throwback Korg M1 lead.

'Shalva' closes the EP - a progressive house tune that keeps the dancefloor in a high & happy mood.
