Exclusive: ZK Bucket - Simple Man

Zaun Records label head ZK Bucket returns to his label with the altogether 14th release of the label. This time the artist delivers three musically diverse compositions for his Simple Man EP, which combine the very best of each genre the tracks refer to. The A1 and EP title track Simple Man has a slight tropical touch due to rhythmical array of tones as well as an organic vibe hence its implementation of percussions in the lows. However, Simple Man is not the tropical summer hit one would now expect as it aims straight to the floors with its simple yet memorable synth-line which in the course of the track is boosted by smashing hi-hats to stimulate the crowd even more.

ZK Bucket's EP Simple Man will be released on Zaun Records on June 24th.

Summer heat is here and with it the eighth installment of Duro's international groove compilation 'Muy Duro'. For this volumen the Mexican imprint dig music from Lithuania's Monk Ernie, a seductive collaboration between Time To Sleep & Local Suicide. The first manifestation from israelian, Ido Morali. The debut of Moisees & ZEA in the VA series, and to close the compilation, a collaboration from TAU's duo, Dominik Marz & Radial Gaze.

The opener is 'Canned Shoes' by Monk Ernie, a fresh and vigorous cut with a rogue percussion section, a big funky bass line, a melting electric guitar, wacky arpeggio synthesizers and cooling pads. It's followed by 'I Unfollow You', the collaboration between the Croatian Time To Sleep and Berlin based lovely duo, Local Suicide. Seductive melodies, tight drums and phantasmagoric voices lead you through the whole track. From Israel comes Ido Morali with 'Mondo3000', a pushing bass kick blended with dozed vocoders and acid sound that sweeps the reality expansion into a hypnotic experience.

Next up is 'Wasen' by Moisees & ZEA, a track inspired by DMT trips and Japanese fishing boats. A Strong and mind-blowing cut, oriental instruments, psychedelic synthesizers, and rumble drums drive you to the zurna's break. To close the compilation is 'Error 707' by Dominik Marz & Radial Gaze, an epic cut manufactured with powerful drums and beautiful synthesizers, an electric shocks rain.
