@Tech-SupportUK continues his Midas touch delivering EBM-flecked electro across three original tracks with his debut EP on @NocturneLabel. The London-based, Brighton producer has been making waves following a series of strong releases, recently dropping records on Lobster Theremin, Futureboogie as well as contributing to the popular Nocturne charity compilation 'From Belfast with Love II'.

On Box Model, Tech support finds an anchor in cleverly automated bassline squelch, driving the club forward with more than a little help from squealing synths and a more analogue touched lead than the previous offerings. Box Model could find a home across a range of dancefloors, from the intoxicating and intimate through to the more melodic.

Royston Summers kicks off 2022 with his new two-tracker ‘Endless / Forever Dreaming’ this March.

After successfully launching the Royston Summers project with a run of singles in 2021 which steadily gained recognition from a widespread variety of DJ’s and tastemaker platforms in the world of contemporary Nu-Disco, the UK artist continues to develop his catalogue with some fresh, dance floor focused material here.

‘Endless’ leads the release and lays down an amalgamation of intertwining, modulating arpeggio lines atop crunchy drums, hazy lead synths lines and squelchy acid-tinged licks.

‘Forever Dreaming’ then shifts focus over to dreamy, resonant pad lines, plucked synth tones and an eighties leaning bass hook alongside dynamically developing percussion.

Hissarlik returns to Death Decay Magic for his first solo EP on the label with ‘Fragments’, accompanied by remixes from Black Light Smoke, Man 2.0 and Tronik Youth.

Born in Lille, Georges Lofferdo, aka Hissarlik, has released killer material across the darker realms of electronic music for over a decade. Fusing shady electro and hypnotic techno, his productions can be found across labels such as Elektrodos Recordings and Urban Connections. Returning to Death Decay Magic following his appearance on ‘Dead Beats 1’ last year, April brings the release of ‘Fragments’ - a project inspired by the chaos and challenges of the past year - with remixes from label founder Black Light Smoke, London’s Man 2.0 and Nein boss Tronik Youth.

Opening via the twisting sonics of ‘Alkane’ before journeying into the tense, electro-tinged ‘Daily Life’, the EP showcases the Frenchman’s penchant for the dark and eerie shades of electronic music. ‘Intruder’ ups the energy, fusing harsh metallic tones with sweeping, haunting atmospherics as the elements of the production ebb and flow amongst the mix. Next, Black Light Smoke’s edit of ‘Dancing On Your Grave’ brings the acid as shimmering hats guide 303-fuelled basslines, while Man 2.0’s take on ‘Alkane’ stiffens the track and surges into the peak time via soaring leads and zipping lasers. To close, Tronik Youth’s remix of ‘Daily Life’ delivers a menacing crescendo as zipping electronics and trippy vocals serve up a chuggy final effort.

During the 20/21 lockdowns A Man Called Adam’s Sally Rodgers and Steve Jones battened down in their studio-base on the wild, industrial North East coast where Sally grew up. The resulting recordings, released as an album later this year, draw influence from the raw nature and raging seas of the ancient Jurassic coastline, the working men’s clubs, Chemical Cities and seaside towns that fall into the mouth the river Tees. The tracks – from Kate Bush-like wonky pop to arthouse bangers and ambient electronica – explore themes of memory, solitude, expectation and finding peace immersed in the detail and deep time of the landscape.

Ammonite, the first release from these sessions, is a surprisingly ferocious deep/tech-house workout with acidic synths layered over a thundering sub bass and motoric beats. Described as “Carl Craig meets DJ Pierre or Bug In The Bassbin meets Wild Pitch” by one industry pundit, Ammonite - like the fossils embedded in the ancient mudstone – is as hard as nails and as likely to endure.
The sleeves in this series of releases feature iconic photographs taken in the 70s by local photographer Robin Dale of people and places around Teesside.

«Deja Vu» is a pitched down breakbeat track with EBM flavor that influenced by something unheard and familiar at the same time.
«Ghosting» is a slowed down paranoid vision of man who suddenly gets ignored by his loved on.
«Bedouin» track sounds like last afterparty track on caveman gathering where everybody is chilling after nice hunt and remembers the experience.

Guided by the belief that the smallest sounds often make the biggest noise, Frame/Frame plumbs the natural soundscape for his debut album, ‘Driftwood’, a carefully crafted distillation of his own experiences and experiments with electronic music and beyond.

There is beauty to be found even in the prosaic— creaking oars form the undulating rhythm of the title track, the bassline on ‘3 am at Magfields’ is a rasping door, a whistle recorded in the bathroom becomes a compelling hook in ‘U.N.I.’, while kitchen utensils sup- ply the rousing percussion in ‘High Ceilings’.

‘Driftwood’ is an invitation to move, to breathe, to smile, to see the world with the clarity that only a 4 am dance-floor epiphany can provide.
