Hailing from St. Petersburg Kito Jempere has shared a carefully selected amount of his own music with his followers via his self-titled label, amongst the most recent releases was his ironically named LP Yet Another Kito Jempere Album. Taken from the latter and actually also the closing track of the November-released LP, Every Minute Is Too Late feat. Noteless underwent the Degustibus mainstay remix treatment from Fango. The Italian artist turned the track into a proper peak-timer waiting to be played out. Starting with harmonically intertwining chords making the track come in like a slowly flowing river passing the valleys in the mountains, Fango's remix becomes a wild major river that issues into a waterfall shortly after Noteless' vocals 'Mystery these days is gone' are absorbed by the water and are transformed to create a completely different tone and vibe. 

Every Minute Is Too Late feat. Noteless (Fango Remix) will be released on Kito Jempere Records on May 7th, 2021.

Don’t let the title “Next Big Thing” fool you: the follow-up to Berlin-born artist and DJ Exildiscount’s 2019 debut “Gift” on Reveller Records makes no claim to deliver the hottest shit right now. Instead, their EP serves as a comment on fragile masculinity packaged in infinitely danceable beats.

Ranging in tempo from 100 to 130 BPM, the EP offers a stylistically diverse approach united by tongue-in-cheek subversiveness. The opening track “IdNTT” is a Dark Disco/New Beat anthem built around a “mantra of denial” voice loop. In “Going to Bed Hungry,” house beats and an EBM-inspired bass line suggest danceability, while a sampled monologue cries out against ideological brainwashing. The third and last track of the EP culminates in euphoria born out of driving beats and organ melodies, ranging from harmony to madness. It is nothing less than a battle call: "Down with the Dickness!”

Klub Kulampara brings soul to the Melbourne Indie dance scene by combining traditional sounds and performances with new electronic sounds and visual experiences inspired by the Middle East.

This is the label's first release by Berkay Mete, featuring indie dance artists such as Leonor and Anatolian Weapons. Leonor brings a different perspective to the track by blending in indian vocals, while Anatolian Weapons brings the heat with his Acid Remix.

Vilnius-based label and platform Electric Shapes starts 2021 with the second volume of its acclaimed compilation series “Unreleased Territories”. Featuring an interesting selection of artists from all over the world, such as Jokios Kultūros, Kolomensky, Tassilo Vanhöfen, Facets, Fabio Me Llaman Soltero (SXDNS187), Neud Photo, Anastasia Zems (SXDNS169), Anatolian Weapons, Volta Cab, Wolfstream, and A-Tweed (SXDNS222), just to name a few, the release invites you to this true musical trip through the depths of this mesmerising concoction of sonorities. 

We have the privilege of reviewing the contribution of one of our favourite producers: Ukrainian Volta Cab, currently based in Saint Petersburg, Russia, is acclaimed not only for his productions but also his live sets. His many an influence allows him to competently flirt with several music genres. This time, he decided to go for something more cosmic and trippier. The melodic bell-like lead allied with the atmospheric pads and the arpeggiated synth layer provided a hell of a theme, definitely one of the highlights of the compilation.  

We finish the review with a beautiful message from the label team: “We really hope you enjoyed this musical trip through different parts of our magical planet. While we’re stuck inside during this crazy pandemic, we wish our music has helped you to escape, at least in your mind and soul. Stay healthy and stay alive!”
