Coming from Milan now based in Berlin, Marcello & Francesco have been putting out some fantastic releases on labels such as Duro, Bordello a Parigi and Relish.  
After their set the three of them sit down in the studio for a chat about differences between the Milan and Berlin scenes, their upcoming album on Dischi Autunno and more..

Following up The Time Capsule Experiment EP with Route 8 & SNDBNK’s This Is Our Time, Vermont-based producer Aspetuck returns with a brand new EP called Memory Foam on Hermit & Artphorm’s Cairo Xpress imprint. The EP consists of 4 deep & heady grooves made with a variety of gear including an E-MU XL-7, Moog Mother 32 along with samples & soft synths.
“When I listen back to my music, I’m instantly taken back in time - to the place where I made the song, the mood I was in, who I was with, how I was feeling at the time etc. I make music pretty much every day so to me it kind of feels like the cataloging of memories. It’s abstract but it feels like my version of a diary or a form of meditation or personal therapy. Memory Foam is a collection of songs (& for me, memories) that I made towards the end of spring as I was approaching the beginning of a pretty major life transition.”

Radial Gaze is an electronic-oriented project of two brothers from St. Petersburg. Andrey is a resident DJ at the Skotny Dvor club and Stas background is being a sound designer and both a theatre and musical director. The result, unsurprisingly, is a dramatic piece of music that's sure to inspire some equally dramatic moves on the dancefloor. In their musical search they follow the idea of mixing musical geography and time jumps. Exceptional synthesis of musical material and new media – this is the injection to speed up the modern musical process.

The full moon lit up the road, casting a brighter glow than the dim street lamps that bordered each side. It was her nightly ritual, watching the comings and goings from her window, hoping to catch wind of a neighbourhood drama or some strange activity only carried out during the nocturnal hours. But nothing stirred, not even the rumble of a car ignition or a stray cat sniffing out its next meal. Everything was quiet, peaceful. Too peaceful... 

Next up on Massimiliano Pagliara's Funnovojere Records, lovingly named after a small beach in southern Puglia, is an instalment from London-based producer Harsh Puri under his Reformed Society alias. Joining the likes of Rotciv, Armonics and James Booth on the label, Reformed Society brings a collection of raw, harmonic synth cuts that blur the boundaries between techno and house. With the first drafts getting the seal of approval from the Guv'nor himself, the late Andrew Weatherall, you can be assured Cosmic Perspective's celestial synth melodies will have you beguiled from lift off to touch down.

Her debut single Blackbird caused quite the stir. Now the hotly tipped US vocalist brings us ‘Beware The Stranger’, released on Foundation Music. The track is lifted from her much-anticipated debut album ‘Black Acid Soul’ and it isn’t hard to see the influences on which she reflects, like Billie Holiday and Gladys Knight. Real name Marley Munroe, Lady Blackbird is blessed with a bold, unmistakeable voice that is misting out across the global jazz scene.
On ‘Beware The Stranger’, she takes a huge London dance floor fave from the days of Rare Groove, spinning it around and flipping it on its head. The 70s original, ’ Wanted Dead Or Alive’ was performed back then by The Krystal Generation and made popular by soul ensemble The Voices Of East Harlem, whose classic rare groove version was produced by Leroy Hutson and Curtis Mayfield. This has been the inspiration for Lady Blackbird’s powerful, jazz-influenced reimagining. This stunning version was recorded in Prince’s studio Sunset Sound, and as the track opens, the tempo drops, the mood becomes intimate and the story is told, in her inimitable style. There’s a stranger heading to town and if they cross your path, they're gonna do you wrong.
On this collection of hi calibre remixes, house legend Ashley Beedle kicks off, taking the original over to the dancefloor with his signature lush strings and sumptuous keys. Daddy Ash delivering a soulful future house classic remix of the highest order. There’s a dub, a stripped back version and bonus beats too.
Grammy nominated producer Chris Seefried travels along the route of the ambient soundscape on his Balearic toned rework, whilst Matthew Herbert, a musician and producer known for ignoring boundaries and throwing away conventions, delivers a stunning sound sculpted ‘Wanted Remix’ and instrumental.
