Taking good care of Funnuvojere's latest release slot is Clarinets, the new alias of Tbilisi based Gacha Bakradze. The four tracks composing this EP highlight Bakradze’s mastership in designing harmonies. The closing track, and the track that we're premiering today, ‘Afternoon’ is a warm house ballad to round-off the last moments of a long after-hours session.

The Live At Robert Johnson label is back with another EP coming from former Rhine-Main resident and Robert Johnson mainstay Robert Dietz, who makes his label debut with his Schnups four tracker. Fittingly the release has the catalogue no. 069, which you may know is the area code of the cities Frankfurt and Offenbach, where both the Robert Johnson label and club are located and, as beforementioned Robert comes from. The EP kicks off with Kirby, inspired by the identically Jump'n'Run character from the Nintendo games series, and comes in with an Acid influenced bassline which is combined with a Breaks note. However, the initially brought up (happy) Acid-bleeps become more and more dominant and are supported by discreet yet smoothly ensnaring synths that are inweaved into the track's body and create an overall harmonic symbiosis and interaction between the elements. 

Robert Dietz's EP Schnups will be released on Live At Robert Johnson on July 9th, 2021.

The  latest  instalment  from @RoamRecordings comes from the  Japanese disco scene via the production duo of internationally acclaimed DJ @que-sakamoto and seasoned studio engineer NT. 

Our pick of this excellent release, was the remix coming from JP & Vulinej the partnership between @JPSoul (boss of Roam  Recordings) and @Jeniluv(a  prominent  figure  in  the  L.A.  dance  scene and partner in Roam Recordings). Having heard Que Sakamoto+NT’s single, Vulinej fell  for  the  song  and  brought  it  to the attention of JP at Roam and together they came up with a filthy heavy hitting acid bender.

The first release is coming from a local talent Lowe Aka User. Member of Soundwax and Jardin Exotique crews, Algis is not only a BMX rider, but also a dj, producer and party starter. His crew's Jardin Exotique parties at Vilnius' Opium Club already hosted Lauer, Marvin & Guy, Telephones and Cooper Saver. And more names of similar caliber are bound to come in the future.
The 3 tracker EP is heavily inspired by the sounds of 80's italo disco and proto-house. It has taken the best elements of the era such as arpeggiated synths and basslines and mashed it with new touches of modern-day house music. The amalgamation of this sounds like it was made in heaven and descended from above to the earth just in time for summer in order to keep people smiling on the dancefloor whilst busting a move or two.
