The main song “Rica” is a sensual, dark and slow work with minimalist, dystopian and industrial characteristics that takes advantage of the sound of the synthesizers to generate those raspy and distorted textures that, together with the vocals, give the feeling of question and answer to the one who listens to it. “Descontrol” is a work with more adrenaline but that maintains the dystopian and industrial characteristics that allow the EP to maintain dynamism without losing its essence. The Artwork is created by the artist himself, with the purpose that fans can identify the style of the Mexican artist in his releases. Get ready to enjoy this EP that will be available on all streaming platforms on February 20.

The duo, championed by Boiler Room, AVA and HÖR Berlin, delves into a deluge of ethereal energy across four absorbing dancefloor-ready records that make up their ‘Fracture’ EP.

Due for single release on 9th Feb ahead of the EP's full launch, the opening track ‘Flare’ brings together shuffled two-step grooves, celestial vocal accents, and retro analogue synths to carve out an empyrean number with cosmic nuances throughout. ‘Your Love’ comes next, showcasing more of the duo’s innate ability to seamlessly weave intricate harmonic progressions with a gritty edge accompanied by cinematic-level soundscapes, poignant vocal injections, and a solid breakbeat foundation.

2024 gets underway, Oath are thrilled to share the imprint’s latest long play, which comes courtesy of rising star Moonee - and you better believe its a solid gold stunner…

Francois Lefevre, the producer behind the Moonee name - alongside his group projects Twice Movement and Simple Request (with French House royalty Tour-Maubourg) - really optimizes all that is bold and beautiful about the House genre. The release of ‘Wabi Sabi’ on Groovence in 2022, then ‘Primal Groove’ on Slothboogie last year, has already helped Lefevre craft a significant space for himself under the Moonee name. His sound is one of tremendous melodic feel, with a plethora of rhythmic patterns and atmospheres being utilised to help create a bountiful sonic universe. His attention to how the groove unravels and how progression can be used softly but subtly really comes over strong, immersing the listener in a very warm place indeed. As beginnings to discographies go, this start is immensely strong, and one which provides a rock solid basis for all sorts of excellence to come forth.

Two EPs down, and now this fantastic long play. Moonee really flexed his style and craft on this record, one which constantly delighted at every turn, providing an enriching spectrum of sounds that stick true to his production technique and to his craft. Not for one second do you stand still, but merely carried along on a wave of melodic euphoria, simply pleased to be along for the ride. The dips from heavy hitting though to softly spoken at handled so well, and as a result we are left with a pretty damn good way to enter in 2024. Winter has arrived, but warm your heart with this stunner.

A sweet trip through House, two killer cuts by Simon TG that show the deepest side of the genre. Next to them are two elegant remixes by Fontana and Cosmic G, giving a touch of Classic House and Trance.

NYC based bass enthusiast Jubilee gets peak-time freaky with the anthemic “B.D.F.Q” as featured in her recent BBC Essential Mix, talented upstart producer Malik Hendricks delivers a sublimely deep take on “Feel Like Dancing”, while Razor-N-Tape label boss JKriv turns in a bright and bouncy house version of “Our Hearts Didn’t Go That Way”. Funk stalwarts FSQ get groovy for a very different reading of “B.D.FQ”, and Damien Harris takes the sultry “Feel Like Dancin” into slow-rolling new disco territory.
