In the merry woods the bears began to dance. They hid beneath the glow of the moonlight atop the mountain side. The wind blew coarsely through the trees but that did not bother them, they were far too rugged and brave for such things to threaten their fun. No man would find them here, within the opening of the forest. They gathered and they danced, grunting and howling to the heavens up above. The sun would rise in a few hours but for now the jungle was theirs. 

Ess O Ess return with a flamboyant interpretation of house music. They deliver a sample laden jam which bounces and oozes with the fun associated with the season.

Music pieces by Russian duo * The Cruising * (* Yula Vovk and * Sergei Demidov* ) are not that easy to identify, both style and time-wise. Funky vibes of the 1970s and 1980s are generously mixed with techno and peppered with unconventional live instruments, vocals, and flirting with rock and roll. Throw in ambitions of new genre creators, and you get a fantastic creature, a techno-funky-rock unicorn. The _Wise And Weird_ EP features four of the duo’s original versions ranging from groovy indie dance to funky techno to acid house. Nottingham dons * Coyote* (* Is It Balearic?* ) turn in a lovely laid back tripped out remix from deep within their Balearic realm.

The second record for the celebrations of the 50th Uncanny Valley release is peppered with familiar faces and artists who will release for the first time on the Dresden based label. After PINK anticipated the coming summer, RED creates a slightly menacing heat lightning. The perfect soundtrack for the phenomenon that is commonly known as Aurora Polaris. 

The American-Australian duo The Golden Filter make their debut on Uncanny Valley. And it’s a tailor-made start. THE PULL is centered around minimalistic drum work, dystopian pads and sparse vocal dots that aim for an inward catharsis. A returnee after eight years is mysterious Mayan Gold from Dresden. His KOMM UND ENTSPANNE (means come and relax) rides on acidic waves and embracing synths, which develop an enormous pull effect on the dance floor. 
Norwegian Charlotte Bendiks’ first track on Uncanny Valley continues the sound language she developed on Cómeme. PASCO is a Percussion-heavy track that sounds just as compelling as it is disturbingly beautiful. Music to lose your mind to. Finally, Austin-based artist Katrina Fairlee teams up with Uncanny Valley-stable Sneaker for the psychedelic drum lesson that is OAK.

2012 witnessed the birth of a shadowy transatlantic musical conspiracy known as Bohemian Groove. Taking their inspiration from the infamous Bohemian Club, a conclave of powerful men who met annually at the Bohemian Grove campground in California to plan world-changing developments including the Manhattan Project, this musical axis of evil spans Toronto and Helsinki, with their base of operations in Berlin. 

In between heated rounds of ping pong on the outdoor table behind their studio, the three puppetmasters of the Groove make machine-based body music connecting the dots between house, techno, and something altogether uncategorizable. 

Having first announced their intentions via a remix (http://soundcloud.com/jokers-of-the-scene/apeman-bohemian-groove) for DJ Druzz (known to most as The Rapture’s Gabriel Andruzzi), Bohemian Groove are unleashing their first standalone dance manifesto in the form of the “High Jinks” / “Low Jinks” EP.

Bohemian Groove "High Jinks"

The little bar on the corner overlooked the port, it remained quiet most evenings but once in a while something out of the ordinary would happen. The regulars would sit and drink wine until late at night looking out across the sea, hoping for some kind of entertainment or drunken argument to take place so they could discuss it amongst each other for weeks to come. They enjoyed the quiet but they still yearned for the drama.

In early 2019, Berlin's Malka Tuti released Hielo Boca, an LP from Decha AKA Viktoria Wehrmeister, one half of Toresch alongside Tolouse Low Trax. Ahead of her sophomore album, which will be released in the near future, several artists and friends of Mala Tuti have taken on remix duties of Decha's originals, including Tapan, Khidja, Philipp Otterbach and Eva Geist who reconstruct Viktoria's originals in surprising and intriguing ways.
