https://soundcloud.com/motekmusic presents two talented minimal producers Minube & Basme with a minimal/breaks EP ‘Many  Years Ago’ with 3 outstanding remixes frm Jay Tripwire, Chris Llopis and Octave.
The title track is a breaks number with classic acid lead instrumentation. The production moves fast in feel created by 16th note shakers and cutting hats whilst eerie percussive bell textures float through the background. The track is finished off which a rhythmical spoken word vocal.
The second track on the EP is ‘Well Being Night’. This original goes back to a 4 to the floor beat, and a very groovy one at that. Skippy swung rhythms in the bass and additional clap hits procure the feel in 
a somewhat spacious track. This space allows lots of room for rhythmic interplay whilst the arrangement rolls along pinned with a guitar in constant tremolo. 
Three remixes complete this release with Jay Tripwire and Octave putting their touch to ‘Many Years ago’ whilst Chris Llopis adds his stylings to ‘Well Being Night’. Each remix, while working off the House 
beat, offers something a little different. Canadian underground legend Jay Tripwire has created a musical masterclass, spanning his 
arrangement over 10 mins. Controlling the ebb and flow of his work through subtle builds and take aways, the acid texture of the original has stayed and he has opened the soundscape with big reverbs 
and delays. 
Romanian minimal rising star Octave has gone for a much deeper style full of long pad texture and swelling chord patterns. The acid lead has been removed leaving a softer musical pallet living the 
listener lost in this beautiful dancefloor track.
Finally label favourite Chris Llopis has brought a bouncy, funky feel to his remix. Syncopation between bass and kick mixed with chord stabs and soft synth pads create this sound and gets the head nodding 
from beat one.

Following hot on the heels of his remix on our last release, we are extremely excited to announce Jay Tripwire returning to the label with his new EP ’Breathe’. This release sees Jay flexing his production skills on two lean originals, title track ‘Breathe’ and ‘Van Allen’.
‘Breathe’ takes a broken beat form full of tension through dissonant chord choices and sharp acidic arpeggiating sounds. A track full of punch, these elements drive the music forward creating a lively yet deep energy.

You can hear instruments like the flute, whose sound is quite relaxing and inspiring. It also contains ambient and musical textures and, of course, all the groove of Organic House or Deep House music.

Only four releases into it’s blossoming back catalogue, and Molly’s RDV label continues to establish itself as an unmissable outlet for contemporary house and techno with an EP from long-established, always-vital German producer, Dana Ruh.

The twitchy, rhythmic ‘Natural High’ sets the rhythm, ideal for those easily seduced by Ruh’s indelibly tight drum work (or those about to be converted to it nonetheless). ‘Moonday’ then expands the sound with a deeply satisfying bassline that blossoms in myriad evocative directions, incorporating trippy acid fluctuations, haunting vocals and a general sense of strobe-lit urgency.

On the flip, and ‘Vattenfall my A’ establishes the energy which which it shares its namesake, trading in a minimal but flexible bassline and eeking out each ounce of tension, in the confident, minimalist style Dana Ruh is beloved for. To close the EP, Molly herself takes ‘Vattenfall my A’ to task, tunneling deeper still with a remix that establishes several shades of fresh, sensual ambiguity, not to mention, an ominous bassline that flirts with the edge.
