DJ and producer Art Alfie offers a energetic kraut disco-tinged dance version of Intercellular Communication, a track off of AUTORHYTHM’s 2023 album Songs for the Nervous System. Added vocalisations and sound effects add an eerie vibe not dissimilar to Nurse With Wound’s reworking of Stereolab on Simple Headphone Mind, and a gradual transformation sees elements of the original track taking on Moroder like qualities, before ending in a gloriously pounding Conrad Schnitzler-like groove.

AUTORHYTHM is a music/science/art project by Swedish artist Joakim Forsgren. His unique brand of electronica builds on a dynamic mix of driving rhythms and meditative soundscapes. It is at times suggestive of genres like IDM, techno, New Wave or Krautrock, but always unquestionably an entity of its own. Conceptually the music deals with the inner workings of the human body and how it is affected by frequencies of light and sound. That said, there is an openness and ambiguity to the music that opens it to both micro and macro perspectives, the songs lend themselves equally as well to interplanetary space travel as neurons firing electrical signals along our neural pathways.

Idriss D officially launches the brand new label Nedjma with his own 2-vinyl, 8-track album as first release. The imprint will serve as a platform for up and coming talents from the Arabic world who are not represented in the current musical landscape. A very bold statement from Idriss himself, this record sees the Franco-Algerian dj and producer infuse his personal history into what he loves the most and share it with the rest of the world.
First track Tsakhbira works as the perfect opener for the album with a melodic ambient-like mood and Arabic chants, with second track Beld el fen following in the same vein with traditional instruments interspersed with synth stabs and eerie atmos.
Chazil’s upbeat rhythm spices up the vibe, a mix of ethereal singalongs and bouncy percussions. Mohamed is the first foray into Electronic territory, a downtempo piece featuring French vocals and plenty of analog industrial clanks that lead into subsequent Hey Galbi, an exquisite melodic house number with acid synth melodies and piano keys.
Electro (Leila Moon Remix) delves into more experimental landscapes, with darker tones, blurred vocals and pulsating beats, while Elf Leila is quintessential Electroclash Arabic music, blending these two genres together, with a syncopated super catchy bassline. Closing track Harramt is a whirlwind of snare rolls, 303 arpeggios and nods to North African heritage sounds.

Mixed Feelings presents a VA remix EP of Jaxe's track titled "Flames" (released in 2023 via Peace Tomorrow VA) from Bejenec, Bakblivv, Avtomat, Tamten and Jaxe's own flip.

Beginning with Bejenec's remake, Flames emerge as reminiscent of the golden days of 4/4 UK bass, boasting a commanding bassline that drives the rhythm alongside drums infused with lots of swing.

Following suit is Babklivv, whose distorted low frequencies disrupt the previous remix structure, presenting a beat driven by broken kicks, perpetually building a seductive tension.

The third track belongs to Avtomat, who further diversifies the mix with an onslaught of heavy percussive hits seamlessly melded with a dubstep-inspired bass, gradually enveloping the listener until exhaustion sets in.

TAMTEN then offers a momentary, deeper interpretation, imbuing the original with a southwestern sonic flavor, evoking an abstract dream that seems to stretch on indefinitely.

Finally, Jaxe's reinterpretation brings the EP to a close, reimagining the original bassline with uptempo breakbeat drums and a captivating sawtooth hook, elevating the energy into higher BPM territory.

Mexican singer / percussionist / producer/ DJ Pahua comes to Razor-N-Tape via a huge 12” + 7” vinyl remix project featuring some of the hottest producer names in current outer-national dance music.
Originally the singer of beloved Mexican band Sotomayor, Pahua blazed her own solo path in 2020, developing her unique electronic Latin sound through a series of EPs, culminating in the release of her standout Habita LP on Nacional Records in 2023. Garnering millions of streams, Habita established Pahuaas an essential voice of modern alternative folk/pop in Latin America.  
Now, Razor-N-Tape brings her sound to the dance floors of the world with a varied remix package that honours the essence of the original music, while flipping it in quintessential RNT club-ready fashion. The list of remixers on this project includes both staples and newcomers to the RNT production stable. Label co-headJKriv turns in a late-nite bass mix of the exceedingly popular ‘Porque Yo,’ Tigerbalm brings her chugging international disco flair to ‘Pa’lante,’ Prince of Queens digs deep with a housey dub of ‘Calla,’ and Londoner Clive From Accounts takes ‘Caña Brava’ into moody nu-disco meets Amapiano territory. 
The label newcomers also deliver in a huge way, with LA-based Captain Planet and Quebecois producer Poirier each revealing very different but equally banging sides of the up-tempo ‘Espantapájaros,’ respectively percussive and thumping, and stripped down and hypnotic. Detroit Latin production legend John Beltran adorns the melancholic ‘Flor de Jazmin’ with a samba-inflected rhythmic foundation and a lush horn arrangement that transports you straight to Cafe del Mar, Ibiza. Mexican producer Belmar rounds out the package with a slow rolling and deep mix of ‘Porque Yo.’

Hailing from Tel Aviv, and cutting her chops on the Los Angeles underground, Mor Elian is a relatively new name on the block, but her tastes have seen her share the stage with the likes of Kerri Chandler, Mike Dunn, Seven Davis Jnr, or DJ Qu and most recently, releasing her debut vinyl release on the excellent Prime Numbers label, featuring FXHE’s OB Ignitt on remix duties. 
On ‘Drum Vortex’, Mor strikes a killer release for Hypercolour, enlisting two big remixes on the release from Joey Anderson and Markus Suckut.  Joey Anderson has proven himself as one of the most diverse house producers out there, with offerings for Dekmantel, Syncrophone, Latency and Tanstaafl Planets. Joey remodels ‘Drum Vortex’ into an old style warehouse dub; rolling congas and snares with incessant synth stabs and bending strings, making up for one serious remix from Mr. Anderson.
