Hello, thanks for tuning in, and welcome to 'Wanderers of the Megacity', our program dedicated to the exploration of the fascinating lives of Procyon alveare, or hive raccoons, as we commonly know them. 

In this immersive VR episode, we will take a look at the daily lives of the hive raccoons. Hive raccoons, in a gaze of four to five, will often venture downwards beyond the relatively safe nesting grounds of the upper-level superstructures. While their journey downward into the bottomless pits of the hive cities and arcologies around the world, our furry friends are always on the lookout for scrap electronics and discarded technology, where it is most abundant. Hauling away scrap from the lower levels and traversing the numerous hidden dangers is a harrowing task. Hive raccoons must remain vigilant against hive city eradication patrols, bushmeat hunters, wild dogs, and the occasional gaggle of orphans or youths who don't know better than to throw rocks and other garbage at these "trash pandas". 

Nevertheless, hive raccoons will carry on with their clandestine activities in the lower levels. Often times, gazes will move in step, akin to a four person squad of mercenaries, checking the corners and keeping a high level of situational awareness. Bushmeat hunters, with their night scopes, TAC headsets, and motion drones, will often return to their wasteland outposts empty handed without meat and fur, due to the propensity for hive raccoons to literally vanish from sight once detected.

Melómana Records reaches its 53rd release with a launch that marks a new milestone in its journey, presenting a truly special talent within the international electronic scene. Pino, a Tbilisi-based producer and live performer, is celebrated for his unique way of moving between indie dance and house, driven by an improvisational spirit and a raw analog sound that turn each performance into an intense and immersive experience.

His new EP, Focus 10, condenses all that energy into two original tracks full of personality. The reborn of the label: Killax is back with this 4 tracks EP by the owner Kid Mark.
A journey that starts with the soulful vocal track "You're My Star", a perfect opening that gets you in the right mood. The EP continue with "Me & You": here we have that funky thing we all love. After that "The Matter (Dub)" increases the heat with classic house drums mixed with a heavy bassline. The EP ends with "Here 4 You": M1 organ and strong drums, the perfect match for a club track.

"Origami" is a famous Japanese art of folding paper into a decorative figure, and is now also the fruit of the musical collaboration between Barcelona-based producer Ludviq and Australia-based multifaceted Poulper. 

Indeed, born from the recent time spent in the studio by both producers, their new EP testifies to the symbiosis between Bonkers Music´s Ludviq and Quixotical Records´Poulper. Together, they deliver the singles "Origami" and "Crystal Cactus", both tracks blending each producer's quintessential musical wizardry. In their new record, Ludviq´s dark psychedelic slow techno textures meet Poulper´s more atmospheric and deep organic layers, which sounds as enigmatic and thought-provoking as an original Japanese origami.

Deep house legend Franck Roger returns to Vibe Me To The Moon for a second sophisticated EP. The accomplished Frenchman serves up a trio of timeless tracks for Nightsteppaz's cultured NYC imprint.
   
Franck Roger has long been integral to deep house. A dedicated crate digger and master beat maker, he's been defining the genre for more than 20 years with timeless tracks on his own Home Invasion as well as cult outlets like Nu Groove Records and more. He has made an art of deepness with supple grooves and tactile synths that are meticulously crafted and perfectly reduced. He has already served up his ‘Can U Believe EP’ and a remix of Nightsteppaz on this label this year and now backs it up with another standout offering. 
 
Opener ‘The Truth’ distils everything that makes Roger’s sound so compelling — sultry spoken word, warm, late-night pads, and elegantly slinky drums that ease their way into both body and mind. It’s a masterclass in mid-tempo house, elevated by rich, immersive sound design and an emotional undercurrent that lingers long after the dancing stops. ‘The Calling’ follows with elastic rhythms and a celestial blend of painterly pads and twinkling melodies. There’s a spaciousness to the mix that invites you in deeper, while the rolling kicks keep hips engaged and hearts lifted. Closing cut ‘The Passage’ shifts into a denser, more grounded groove. Exploited Club warmly welcome in Pleasure Voyage who step up to the plate and do as they do best: casting out a wide musical net, gathering in influences from Breaks, House, Disco, Balearic and Funk whilst pulling in a hefty dose of fun, flair and ecstasy to boot.

'Cuánto Cuesta' is a simmering pot of pure joy. A bubbling bass line has the track on a low boil throughout while luscious, buoyant synths intimately jostle alongside bold but allaying piano chords. Classic breaks snap in the back while a gently acidic lead flexes in and out of focus and the resultant groove sends out a clear and cosy invitation to get loose.

A regular on Johannes Albert's Frank Music's label and Tensnake's True Romance, Claus Casper chips in with his 'No Tengo Dinero' remix - a fortified revision that packs an extra punch with a layered snare, cow bells and an open hat that seasons the groove with a little bite and snap.

Rolling snare fills punctuate the track as Claus creates ramps for sections that showcase his indisputable chops on the keys. The passion and heat of the orignal remains intact as progress tumbles towards a long, spine-tingling breakdown that pops wide open in a manner that will send the floor absolutely nuts.

20/20 Vision welcome the ever-diverse and evolving Nathan Jonson. Following a decade of producing and dj-ing as Hrdvsion, Nathan has stepped out under his birth name to mark a new stage in his career. "Cross Colours" is a perfect representation of this new stage, a hybrid of all the styles he has become renowned for. When they first heard Cross Colours they were all in agreement that Luke Vibert would be the perfect remixer. Luckily Luke agreed too and turned in a track, flirting with early rave and hardcore whilst keeping the originals electro aesthetic. 
The B side is rounded off with a club version from Ralph Lawson & Rui-Z (which has already being championed by Seth Troxler on his most recent Essential Mix) and a dark techno interpretation from exciting new 20/20 signing Dokta, who you can expect to hear a lot more from this year.
