This EP is quite an original symbiosys of live music feeling and "robotic" electro sound, spiced up with rich analogue waveforms and airy trancey pads.

From somewhere that is nowhere, traumgarten presents Virgin Forest – 21 sonic renditions of unadulterated beauty emerging from their cocoons for the first time. Insulated from the dogma of mass consciousness, every track is its own unique sanctuary, yielding only to the creative urges of its maker. Our second benefit compilation harvests the dreams of globally and cosmically diverse protagonists, with otherworldly sounds spanning the spectrum, from ambient meditations and percussive tribal fantasia to bass heavy club concoctions and glitched-out grooves. An ode to parallel universes, dormant desires, and all the unexplored paths of our finite existence.

All proceeds from this compilation will be split between three organisations: Alianza Arkana, a grassroots organization committed to the protection, development and wellbeing of the Peruvian Amazon and the indigenous Shipibo-Konibo peoples; Everyday Refugees, a foundation that aids refugees, local communities, and people internally displaced by war; and Bridges Over Borders, a community-based collective offering support to BIPoC, LGBTQIA+, and other marginalised individuals fleeing Ukraine.

Kieran Apter teams up with Dublin based DJ and producer Neil Flynn for ‘Dad Rhythms’, a deep and hypnotic afro house cut with live percussion played by Kieran’s dad Keith. Labelmate Anthony Georges Patrice delivers his signature raw and stripped back sound on the remix, keeping things deep while making great use of the live percussion elements to really bring the groove.

A synth-infused father-son collaboration, fast-rising talent Kincaid has teamed up with his dad Neil Arthur, a member of the respected British synth-pop act Blancmange, for a fresh release on Moscoman's Disco Halal imprint, titled 'Big Fat Head'.

The forthcoming release sees Moscoman teaming up with friend and collaborator Trikk as Nucat for their first official remix under the new joint moniker. Wrapped in the label's favored air of eastern mysticism, this chugging and vocoder-driven track is not to be missed.

'Big Fat Head' is set for release on March 22 via Disco Halal.

Leading Mexican label Duro welcome countryman Rigopolar for four of his fantastically expansive and expressive disco tunes.

The now US based Rigopolar is a cosmic explorer and space sound aficionado with credits on the likes of Tom Tom Disco dating back five or so years. His mix of disco and techno has taken him to gigs round the world, podcasts for Soma and remixes on the likes of Beat is Murder.

Brilliant opener ‘Black Mantis’ is a spooky cut with a mysterious lead that takes you into a mystic forest. The drums move things on as sci-fi sounds and withering synths add details to this most evocative musical story. ‘Espiral’ is a colourful, psychedelic scandi-disco classic with looping arps taking you ever further into the stars. Its craftsmanship is second to none as it draws you deeper and deeper in.

The scintillating ‘Time’ is another lush cut with plenty of glistening and glowing synths. Always ascending through the mix, they lift your spirits and hands in equal measure while the deeper drums keep your feet moving. Last of all is ‘Crashes’, a slower and more melancholic track that is paired back to a steamy vocal and rolling drums. A poignant one-finger melody brings tenderness to this brilliantly introspective closer.

This is an exceptional trip though timeless disco with a difference.

Exclusive Time To Sleep - Lungo Mare

Named after one of Croatia's most beautiful coastal prominades Pula-based artist Time To Sleep makes his Disco Halal Singles Club debut with Lungo Mare. The take captures some of the artist's musical influences and comes with a rather funky almost rock-ish bass line, which is enriched with a bleeping lead synth that in the course of the track is groomed with a glitch adding even more raw- and edginess to it. It's those little details that Time To Sleep prepared Lungo Mare with that keeps the listener hooked to the track and making it sound intriguing. But in all the aforementioned roughness Time To Sleep's approach has beauty shining through and possibly describing the twelve kilometer lasting path Lungo Mare, when having overcome as well as to take on some burden before rewarded with beautiful sundowners and views over Adriatic Sea.

Time To Sleep's single Lungo Mare will be released on Disco Halal Singles Club on May 1st, 2020.
