Each of the 7 tracks on this record instantly evoke the desire to dust off your old Dreamcast, PlayStation, or N64, only to find yourself, af- ter extensive playtime, lulled to sleep by the hypnotizing level-select soundtrack of your long-forgotten favorite futuristic racing game.

»Hello, It’s Jemlo« will be released on very limited CD Digipak as a nod to that millennial period it is sonically rooted in, and will also be available on all major digital platforms.

Quimbie is a german producer who since 2021 has released a couple of records on his home label Janx Records as well as several releases under his more leftfield/kraut influenced moniker Aroma Von Trois- dorf on Papercup Records, plus a contribution to DJ SoFa’s Elsewhere Compilation series.

Embark on a sonic odyssey with Nervous Operator's latest album, "Psychic Diffraction," an audacious nine-track collection where the pulse of syncopated rhythms and psychedelic synthcraft meet the ethereal realms of ambient melodies and hypnagogic dreamscapes.

Forging a path that diverges from the digitally-centered composition of his last album, "Chronostasis" released on Dreamtone in 2021, Nervous Operator, who is based in Vancouver, embraces the raw energy and imperfections of live performance. "Psychic Diffraction" has its roots in two dynamic live PA sets, which served as the creative essence for the album. The original performances were recorded, only to be reworked through a studio process that refined and enhanced the compositions without sacrificing the spontaneous spirit of the live experience. Utilizing an impressive array of hardware, including an Octatrack, Rytm (gratitude to Josh Rose aka Derivatives for lending the device), Syntakt, and the Mopho, Nervous Operator ensures each track delivers a palpable and vibrant auditory experience that is tinged with tactile warmth.

“Psychic Diffraction” is also a homage to the influence Chicago, where Nervous Operator previously lived, had on the artist’s creative process. “Much of my inspiration came from my time in Chicago and the musicians and DJs I met through various shows and parties. I greatly appreciated the freedom of exploration and melding of genres”. As a result, the album boasts an eclectic blend of industrial, electro, breakbeat, and techno. “I always aim to create small ‘worlds’ for the listener to explore sonically and to layer textures in such a way that allows the listener to discover new elements on repeated plays,” Nervous Operator reflects. "Psychic Diffraction" indeed offers a multilayered auditory odyssey that becomes richer with each listen.

Everything was happy up here, was it all smiles down there? Everything was bright up here, was it dark down there? Everything was warm up here, was it cold down there?

The sunken place was aloof and beyond what we might ever know, or want to know.

Remotif is a familiar producer who has released a steady stream of wicked, futuristic yet nostalgic records on the likes of X-Kalay, Coymix and Pleasant Life. Now he releases a new record on Emotional Especial. It’s perhaps his most sophisticated to date.

London-based Tom Jarmey (aka Ocean Stirs and one half of Mother Of Pearls) delivers the first in a new string of EPs via his Wing Theory imprint.

Title track ‘Cosma Dance’ kicks off the EP, merging layers of celestial pads and synths with pumping, textured 4/4 drumwork to create a driving builder, doused in glistening euphoria. ‘Caught In A Nest’ switches tac, adopting a deeper, darker and faster makeup, fusing thick subs and DnB tempo drums with haunting vocal chops. Rounding off the EP, ‘Almost Breaking’ takes on a sound of it’s own, juxtaposing fluttering vocals and fluffy pads with sub-shaking sub sonics and hair-raising breaks.

For this was like nothing which had ever come before. How could it be after all the great city had been through? The trials and tribulations were rooted in the DNA of the music itself. Detroit, a belongingness to the sound of a city which has burnt its bridges and risen from the ashes once more.

Ivaylo is set to release a new EP on Lab Cleaning Jams, a record which features a rugged slice of Detroit Electro Funk, reminiscent of the old school era. It is rounded off with a remix from Christian Engh.
