The remix edition breathes new sounds and textures into "ISSUES", led by some of the most innovative and exciting talents in today's electronic music scene. By writing and producing music about her own experiences with BPD and featuring Manuka Honey, Sally C, Cyan85, Ben Pest and Peachlyfe along the way, DJ MELL G continues to raise awareness about the condition, challenge stigmatised views, and empower others to create meaningful dialogue around mental health.

German DJ and producer Cyan85 adds the 808 treatment to "GREATEST DESIRE", fusing the original's dreamy melody with a fresh dose of acid squelch, striking a fine line between floaty and frenetic energy.

The A side roars with high bpm and furious rhythms.“Keep me high” express the need of escaping ordinary life, seeking something that keeps us "high" and allows us to escape and reset. Following up "Fast Rate" spans a variety of influences, blending the allure of old-school Detroit electro with futuristic sounds achieved through bold experimentation and advanced wave modelling. This fusion results in a diverse and innovative sonic aesthetic, ranging from nostalgic '80s/'90s vibes to experimental dimensions where tones morph and evolve.

"Solo in Space" and "Restless” on the flip, side deliver direct pulsating sounds and rhythms, embracing an impactful electro-techno vision. Just about three years to the date of its inception, Weapons of Desire hits no.14 (WOD014) with a single sided release from Sync 24 (Phil Bolland) and Radioactive Man (Keith Tenniswood) with a track entitled ‘Downforce’. A straight up Electro monster that will stand the test of time and be doing the rounds way after lockdown is a thing of the past. If this isn’t enough there is also a remix from Jensen Interceptor (Mikey Melas) with a Pulse width baseline of pure filth. No favourites here so we suggest you play them both back to back.

This is a limited single sided vinyl release of 200. Hand stamped and numbered personally by those reprobates at Weapons of Desire. Enjoy!

We're closing our 2020 with a 14-track collection of recent label highlights as well as offering up four brand new and exclusive tracks including one from label founder Coloray. In keeping with the 18-month old tradition, we're proud to showcase a compilation that explores the outer edges of electronic music with an always experimental and leftfield perspective.

Coloray kicks off with a new track 'Viewing' which is a bustling broken beat with emotive vocals stitched into the mix next to soaring string sounds and rumbling bass that makes for a true intergalactic trip. Oppo Bala is a new act from Tilburg made up of Brian Omen and Atilla the Hun, and they impress with their exclusive offering 'Stickerbrush Wave', a deep, dynamic techno banger with an angelic vocal up top and high-speed synth loops and celestial ambiance that makes for a heavenly state of mind.

Another exclusive comes in the form of a label debut from Axefield, who runs his own Who's Susan label and has been making moves since 2016 on various labels. His excellent 'Slug' has old school breaks layered up with hypnotic leads and fizzing synth textures that really bring the energy. The fourth exclusive is by Ramses3000, who returns to the label after his excellent Ataraxia EP earlier in the year. His cutting edge sound on 'Aurelia' is all about drilling bass and drum programming that is overlaid with bright, glistening melodies from outer space.

The other 10 selections showcase a broad range of extra-dance floor styles released on Intercept in the past 12 months.
