Following up "Fast Rate" spans a variety of influences, blending the allure of old-school Detroit electro with futuristic sounds achieved through bold experimentation and advanced wave modelling. This fusion results in a diverse and innovative sonic aesthetic, ranging from nostalgic '80s/'90s vibes to experimental dimensions where tones morph and evolve.

"Solo in Space" and "Restless” on the flip, side deliver direct pulsating sounds and rhythms, embracing an impactful electro-techno vision. They moved slowly across the desert sand, leaving a trail in their wake. The stars flickered up above against a deep coal sky, wispy and wondrous in the midst of the night. It might as well be night for the sun had never reached these parts, up on a distant planet far away from everything they’d ever known.

They’d been here for one week, amidst a barren landscape on the red ash. Perhaps this would one day become home but for now it felt as if everything was fighting against them in a bid to make them leave. Be it the cold wind of the morning or the raucous heat of the afternoon.

This was a wild world of a place.

DMX Krew continues his prolific form with the release of a new EP built upon deep, rugged, evil sounding electro for No Static / Automatic.

SNIPPETS: BEAM CONTROL - MOVING ELECTRONS (JGR008)

This piece was created by techlab.bp members slym and szoliver for the final edition of Hungary’s Kolorádó Festival, held deep in a forest near Budapest. They had the honor of closing the legendary Csodaszarvas Stage forever, and composed this track as the opening moment of their set.

The stage’s name refers to the Csodaszarvas (“miraculous stag”), one of the most ancient symbols in Hungarian mythology. According to the myth, the stag led the ancestors of the Hungarians on a journey to new lands, becoming a timeless emblem of guidance, destiny, and the search for community.

In that same spirit, this track was written as a musical invocation of transition and unity, a final call to gather, journey, and celebrate together under the forest canopy, before the Csodaszarvas Stage passed into legend.
