The inaugural release from Ganzfeld Records takes the form of a 10 track compilation of various artists from around the world. The compilation features talents such as Rotterdam’s Gamma Intel, Romanian DJ and producer Aleksa Alaska, and upcoming Chicago-based electro musician ravelogic.
There is also contributions from Dublin’s Hank LW, SUCHI from Oslo/Delhi, lower_flower from Utrecht , NTHR1 from Armenia, Clarence Wu based in Düsseldorf, as well Rigson and Carrousel (UK).
Expect an array of sensitive electro cuts, shimmering breakbeats, tripped-out acid, and pumping four-to-the-floor nostalgia.

Lisbon veteran and scene agitator Citizen:Kane has been reverently experimenting with the limits of electronic music in the past few years, bringing a much-needed generosity and curiosity to the artistic practice in the community.

Paraíso are lucky enough to have his new album on Rave Tuga. Titled 'The Last Whistle', it concisely and soulfully encapsulates his signature sound-spirit, one where synths can sing and drum machines laugh and cry. Cinematic drones and sci-fi bleeps invite us to an otherworldly realm on the opener, 'Cujo Fujo'.

Dark, energetic arpeggiated basslines continue to haunt us perfectly as we step into the B side, with echoes of EBM and industrial creating the otherwise swingy techno heavy-hitter that is 'The Mad Parade'. Things get headier and trippier as we dive deeper into the album, with ambient and slow jams that manage to marry the celestial and the austere.

After having invited, a few months ago, eight of the best producers France currently has to offer, La Forge now temporarily steps away from the ‘Crysta Ampullaris’ series for a more radiant and solar output. ‘Crysta Ensolaris’ is fueled by the optimism inspired by the perspective of soon getting back on the dancefloor, after more than a year of privation : this sheer need to reunite and come together, be it day or night, during these sweet moments of daydream that we’ve all been missing so much.
Back to an EP formula, our core main producers (Nigm, Slowglide, Lebird, Shonen Bat & Ayuji) gratify us with five tracks full of U.V. vibes. Soothing introduction ‘Ephemeral’, by Nigm, is an introspective downtempo nugget, not unlike a mystical journey under a zenith sun, with its load of sonic mirages and illusion. Then Slowglide turns the acid up, layering breakbeats into the incantatory ‘Solstice’, a big-beat-infused psychedelic track perfectly designed to launch a neo-pagan rave.
Suddenly, here comes the eclipse. Lebird’s ‘Adonia’, a high-energy electro banger, takes us to one of those sweltering nights when bodies undulate and collide, breathless as the kick drum hits. Then, wild kid Shonen Bat propels us towards a gigantic solarpunk rave in zero gravity with ‘Planet Serotonia’, a hybrid, alien-sounding track somewhere between breakbeat house & high-protein UK hardcore. Finally, Ayuji puts a finishing touch to this fantastic trip with ‘Heliopolis’, a swift, solar house gem mingling Detroit techno influences with some trance elements. Like an ultimate rush of dopamine at sunrise, just before the party draws to a close.

For catalogue number 007 on Laib und Seele Records we proudly present young Maltese artist and LUS-Cofounder Redline Fever. His work has already been published on the first LUS-compilation. While shortly residing in Tenerife, he is now back on his way to London, his home of choice, and with him three fresh, powerful, dancefloor-ready tracks packed into his luggage.

The mini EP kicks off with the track Freak. Broken kickdrum-patterns bluntly warm up the atmosphere, followed by several percussive elements. Screaming pads approach and just when they’re about to get you they fade back into distance. The first climax is reached when a gloomy and strong synth-riff steps into the action, giving the track a dark and mystic energy.

The dark vibe continues in the next track. A four-to-the-floor kick drum at 145 BPM is the central element that carries Look. The track presents itself refreshingly simple but retains enormous amounts of energy. Sparse industrial sounds enter the scene but never steal the show.

Last but not least, the EP is completed by the track !Alone, with that no signs of slowing down. We turn up the tempo to a sweaty 155 BPM. The room is foggy, dark and raw. The moods are swinging. With your eyes closed you can almost see the flashing stroboscopes around you. The track comes with a clear line that goes only into one direction: straight forward.

Mohawk Valley Formula moves away from their usual analogue sounds to serve up three-floor facing techno gems on Blumoog Codec.
This pair hails from Southeast London and makes thrilling live techno with real warmth and depth. In the past, they have dealt in organic soundscapes and raw analogue textures. This EP finds them evolving their sound and heading directly to the heat of a peak-time dance floor. It has fantastic pulsing rhythms that aim to evoke the feeling of being lost in a rave in the early hours of the morning.
Visceral opener 'Aquatic Layer' is powered by a rugged acid line that underpins the smooth but cantering drums. There is an absorbing sense of darkness and tension throughout and it is added to by flashes of silvery percussion which whip about the mix. Add in rumbling bass and you have some high-grade dance floor pressure. 'Inside Apollo' is an excellently streamlined cut that burrows late into the night. The fizzing synth lines make for a paranoid mood as they roam about the mix and the chunky drums race on at high speed. It's both heady yet physical as the synths grow ever more intense. Lastly, 'Urban Silence' is another deep warehouse techno track that is stripped back but impactful. The drums are relentless, the hits coarse, and the powerful bass fills the track with a shadowy intrigue.
These are three stylish techno tracks that work the head as much as the heel.
