Brazil-born, Berlin-based Rotciv follows up his ‘Tea Time’ EP on this label with a new standout release. The suitably evocative artwork for this release is once again by Daniel Rajcsanyi. Rotciv explores everything from electro to acid house, disco to trance. He is well known to heady crowds at places like Panorama Bar, Robert Johnson and the Cocktail D’Amore parties, and also runs the Mister Mistery label. Besides appearances on Rinse FM, Radio 80000 and Permanent Vacation’s radio show, he has recently landed on Polari Records, Luv Shack, and Full Pupp. Opener 'Resemblance' is a deep and elastic electro groove with twitchy acid flashes. The late-night tension builds through pixelated pads that grow ever more twisted, with cosmic chords layering in subtle trance vibes. The fantastic 'Guarani' is a multi-faceted club track with another elastic bassline and more acid details. This time the chords are more haunting, and dark disco synths bring real menace and mischief. The artfully crafted 'Lucid Dream' is a gurgling fusion of deep techno, wave and synth music. It is filled with hopeful chords and jumbled kicks that lock you into a perfectly loose and percolating rhythm. Last of all comes 'Final Frontier,' a taught club track tinged with electro synth designs and tobacco-stained grooves. It's muscular but emotive with wandering pads that take you on a trip to the stars. This is another well-formed EP from Rotciv that is packed with originality.

Basically it's a combination of musical maturity and a mixture of feelings from a lifetime, Gran Canarian producer Sebastian Roya aka Egido always had in mind that at some point he was going to stop, to do something special, focusing on doing something for 'himself', making something 'personal', music reflexing his soul, something conceptual, also visualizing his musical trajectory. His musical and personal evolution coming to that moment when it's a right time to unleash 'Last Lap' EP, all those feelings and above all transmit a good trip for your ears, body and soul.  This dope 3 mixes digital record reveals a lot of complex rhythmics patterns and dystopic synths works, as well as some lovely singular and experimental mixing techniques. Russian Producer Volta Cab presents himself in MM Discos with Balearic Balsam EP, a record that explores the borders of the sound that was born in the white island, blending it with a “new-wave” oriented vibe.
On the A side, Saint Petersburg based producer, shows us what he likes the most partying obscure rhythms with summery-soothing atmospheres. “Shujumi'' plays along with more ethnic and oriental sounds while “Balearic Balsam” gets highly influenced by the 80’s new wave.
On the B side, the talented Greek producer “Anatolian Weapons” takes over the control by remixing Shujumi, he twists the original track and adds different acid elements building a perfect 4x4 killer straight to your brain. Volta Cab finishes the EP with “Vedic Space Vehicle”, getting a little darker than the previous tracks on the A side but without changing the vibe, delivering an excellent new-age-elektro rooted anthem.

Nothing could prepare him for the colossal amount of commitments and activities that lay ahead of him. The deadlines were many and the hours few, he had to get his priorities in order and sleep and health would not make the cut. But this wasn't his first rodeo, he was well trained in the art of ploughing through. He no longer needed his vitamins to get the job done.

Known for his hazy, off-kilter take on electronica, Tel Aviv-based producer and Age Of Self co-founder Autarkic has brought us some of our favourite leftfield dancefloor releases, for the likes of Bahnsteig 23, Höga Nord and Life and Death. For his new LP, a debut on Red Axes' Garzen Records, he goes back to his roots, leaving the club behind for songs sung in Hebrew over guitars, synths, samples and lo-fi atmospheres.

For the debut digital EP on Viscera Transmissions, Komodo spreads his wings and takes his signature low slung psychedelica to the stars, to reap destruction on extraterrestrial dancefloors across the cosmos.

Title track Mirror Claws begins an ember in the desert, slowly stoked by guitar chord stabs and eerie screeches towards a slow yet inevitable psychedelic inferno.

For Night Crawler, the guitar steps back into co-pilot role as the acid bass takes the saddle, spurring the squelch dragon off into the void with a crack of the 303 whip.

Next up is Vanquished Angst with a dubby desert rock workout. Blazing guitar solos tear across the sky like thunderbolts whilst the hypnotic bassline and guitar progression burn through the dunes.

On the flip, Jonny Rock re-dubs the dub with his Vanquished Angst Dragon Remix. No slightly questionable guitar metaphors here, instead, a mind melting whirlpool of spiraling percussion, vocal quips, bass throbs and pads form a completely bonkers but brilliant piece.

Last but certainly not least, Chez de Milo arms Night Crawler with some serious ordnance. After changing up the beat pattern with a breaksy kick, electro warheads are ago, clearing the way for the original 303 line to cruise through. Heavy!
