Originally from Merida, Venezuela, Andres pursued his musical trajectory for years in London and Berlin before recently settling in Ibiza.

Active for more than 25years in the music scene, he delivered countless tracks, edits and classy dj mixes. Those recent years, his most noticeable effort was the most acclaimed release "Ritmo Fantasia" compilation he curated; an absolutely brilliant selection of Balearic Spanish Synth​-​Pop, Boogie & House from the golden days 1982​-​1992.

Wherever he plays as dj  this exotic tastemaker and gentleman brings heat, passion and class so we're very happy to have him onboard on LYO !

PD002 takes flight in the form of a lost, deadeye jungle bird scavenging for his next trinket. It captures the raw energy and playful, feral sound that defines the Pelican Dub aesthetic: a blend of primal rhythms, hypnotic textures, and experimental intensity.

Pelican Dub 002 features three original tracks by DJ Merlín, alongside one co-production with Adam Pits:

The younger sibling that has outgrown its original prototype. This DnB rework has rightfully become a flagship for the Pelican Dub sound. Expect primal rhythms, wild experimental drum design, and a savage, stretched-out analog bassline that dominates the low end.

Last month he also made a reinterpretation of seminal dutch classic ep "Vallée de larmes" by René & Gaston, originally released in 1993 on Fresh Fruit Records.

Massimo has returned with a new wave of inspiration and releases ready to go, blurring the boundaries between Balearic, House and Electronica, with a nod to the dancefloor.

Bossa Pacifico kicks things off, a superb off kilter Adriatic sunset groove recently picked up by Pete Herbert for Music for Swimming Pools Vol 2, and with a Live Nation remix of it, lifting it to more late night dancefloor proceedings.

Tony’s Groove is infectious as they come, a driving tweaky Nu Groove-esque bass line, filtered 90s pianos and early hours fx keeping it moving.

Maintaining Melodize’s specialized sound deep-rooted in moody electronic principles, the EP opens with ‘Memory’, a piercing, dark, synth dynamic alongside rich tonal textures in both harmony and melodies alike.
