Second release at Nerang Recordings is jam packed with floor moving goodies. Subjoi starts us off on a journey with his track Signal Point, bring your moon boots. Interplanetary Criminal backs that up with Softly, his own unique spice rack of a track. On the B-side here premiered, we have Slim Hustla with their track 2100. No intros needed, Slim has been destroying the northern part of our globe so it was time to bring em' down under. Jesse Bru closes the show with his emotion packed track Mustard King, warm and tasty, Al Dente.

“healing” begins to open up from the haze that “fog” leaves. The title has a lot of meaning behind this one, laced with distant vocals telling you to “let the healing into your heart”. The track encapsulates the title of the EP, an emotional shift towards happiness, peace of mind, hope, and (some) clarity. This track was written with a lot of personal hardships on CD’s mind from a recent relationship, and always pictured being entranced by it at the end of a long set in the club.

Conformal returns to his own label https://soundcloud.com/lima-express  imprint with the release of new single Mishmash. “Mishmash is built around a sample I recorded from a cassette tape that my dad recorded in the 70s of him playing on different things inside of a huge space” says Conformal about the song. Characterized by soft, punchy percussion and a hypnotic groove, Mishmash builds from a haunting, mysterious tone and later opens up into pure bliss with the addition of shimmering synth sounds. 
Conformal’s ability to put the listener into a trance and take them to another place is especially evident with this song. It’s full of warmth as well as hope (a common feeling in Conformal’s music), signaling the height of summer and pairs perfectly with the setting sun.

Just after releasing 'Solidify' on Le Temps Perdu, STATUE (Tom Gould) has become a cornerstone of this years, 'Summer Riot VIII' compilation commissioned by purveyors of good groove, Futureboogie. 'Ivory' is a shining collage of live percussive work and ‘hands in the air’ piano and organ motifs, driven by its steady house rhythm. 

Futureboogie's eighth annual Summer Riot compilation EP is an eclectic gathering of producers and tracks that fittingly encapsulate the current balmy vibes and a summer load of festivals and parties already behind us.

PRÈMIÉRE: STATUE - Ivory [Futureboogie Recordings]

Secret Factory return to their own label with another fresh underground house offering that includes remixes from TERR and MAN2.0. This Hungarian pair is legendary in their homeland having put on Secret Fusion parties there for the last 20 years. Since 2019 they have established their label of the same name with the sort of sounds they play in their tasteful yet experimental house, disco and techno sets. Their first original is ‘Hashen Tashen’, a brilliantly melodic track with rich xylophones and rubbery drums getting you on your toes. Cosmic pads add future vibes and the whole thing is stylishly slick and serene.
First to remix is Brazilian-born, Berlin-based DJ and producer Terr who is making waves on labels like Phantasy Sounds. Her version is an intense affair with driving drums and lasers shooting across the face. It has ping-pong melodies and frazzled synth lasers that all bring raw energy. Then comes London’s MAN2.0, a man who takes cues from 80's synth, EBM and “toy instruments from charity shops” amongst other things. Andrew Weatherall is a fan and will likely appreciate the macho twisted disco of this twisted chugger.
The final hurrah is Secret Factory’s ‘No Garbage Please’, a breezy cosmic house cut with more meticulous melodies and pads. Well treated vocals are another subtlety that ensures this is further winning effort.
This third release yet again proves Secret Fusion is a label as vital as the party it came from.
