With his debut release titled Planetary Secrets, he toes the line from nostalgia to fantasy, offering his own take on what it means to escape reality. He notes 'It's rare I start a track without a theme, whether that would be a childhood memory or place I want to visit, manifesting an environment in my head guides the production process." His intimately personal process gives a cohesive context to his output. It creates a paradigm between the past and the present, suspending time for the listeners by immersing them in their own imaginary world. Now more than ever, narratives like this provide a vital crutch for isolated home listeners as well as a departure from the notion that club music is purely functional and hedonistic.

Melbourne based artist Dashiell debuts on Felt Sense Records with five hazy cuts, including a remix from Salt Mines co-founder Rudolf C.

Dashiell is a Melbourne born and raised DJ & Producer and a member of production group Menage alongside Sam Brickel, who released a track on Kia's Animalia imprint back in June 2020. Dashiell is a devotee to glitch & minimal musical styles, which shine through in his 'Going Nowhere Fast' EP on Melbourne label Felt Sense Records. The EP features a collection of tracks recorded over several years in some of Dash's ever-evolving bootleg studio setups like laundry spaces, and leaky tin sheds. The EP opener 'Aspect' sees Dashiell invite Steeplejack artist Sam Brickell to feature. The track offers fluttering grooves, hypnotic pads and spacey, humming low frequencies before 'Going Nowhere Fast' lays down breaky rhythms, tripped-out fx and twinkling synths underneath. Up next, 'Oxy' takes things into minimal territories as the shimmering bassline fuse delicately with moody textures and dubbed-out vibrations whilst 'Scratching The Surface' features ambient atmospheres, breezy soundscapes and glistening melodies.

To finish, Berlin-based Australian producer and Co-Founder of the Salt Mines label rolls out a loopy remix of 'Going Nowhere Fast' as he blends trippy electronics and murky tonality.

Though the sun's rays beat down on the plant life below from morning to night, they blossomed and flourished in these tropical conditions, happily existing in their own microscosm. One where nature ruled and human's weren't there to destroy it...

After an almost year long hiatus, London-based imprint air miles return with a new offering from Familiar Strangers boss Remotif. The Bristol DJ and producer, who has previously released music via Alfresco Disco and his own imprint, makes his debut on air miles with the transcendental 'Gondwana at Noon' which, following the format of the label's last offering, comes complete with three remixes from Nathan Micay, Molly and Jeigo.
