The idea of starting a label had been incubating for some time, but after five years of throwing parties in Leeds, London, and at various festivals across Europe, there was a strong feeling that now was the perfect time to launch a record label. Having built the brand on a selective but diverse booking policy, a handful of highly capable residents, and a care and attention to detail that has helped curate some very memorable parties over recent years, Flux have now channeled this ethos and passion into the launch of Flux Records. Flux’s music policy has always been about the marriage between well-established artists, with fresh, up-and-coming talent, and so for the first release they’ve pulled in promising newcomer Shedbug, with a remix from esteemed German heavyweight duo Tuff City Kids (Gerd Janson and Lauer).  "Recovery", here premiered is a tender 7-minute sojourn through hazy dream-states, subtly melancholic, but ultimately a cathartic experience ! Pressed onto 180g high quality black vinyl (no digital release), this limited run is presented in beautiful cover and label artwork from Laura Zhang.
