@XXXTheLabel is a new dutch label created by a bunch of friends that run the eponym "XXX" club nights in Amsterdam. We supported their very cool first release by "Jack Pattern" through our infamous Youtube channel and now comes in a few weeks the second one by Lipsky brother's Simple Symmetry . We do really like their unique fresh blend and premiered not so long ago their track Kalimba on "Cosmic Pint Glass". But to change a bit the game, here is the Marvin & Guy's Afterhour Mix, a long 10 mn epic cut you'd already wish to hear at 6am. in a summer beach festival on those "hands in the air" euphoric moments ! Mateo Gonzales. In Mexico, even children know his name. One of the most versatile Latin American producers, known for his monikers Bufi, Theus Mago and Sonido Phantasma, one of the co-founders of Duro Label, he released a huge amount of music on such labels as Electrique Music, Kitsune, Discotexas, Platino, My Favorite Robot, Turbo Records etc, he is one of the pioneers of the Mexican modern electronic scene.
This is not his first collaboration with Los Angeles  producer Missy Livingston aka Moderna (known for her work with Ghostly International), at the beginning of last year they recorded together a powerful EP on Chloe's Kill The DJ.

This time they are released on another French, Marseille's label La Dame Noir. The new EP includes 3 original mixes plus remixes from Sebastian Voigt and a remix from the Mateo Gonzalez himself under one of his monikers - Bufi, which we are happy to present to you today.
Moderna & Theus Mago - Tecno Misogino (Bufi Remix) - a dancefloor-worthy groove monster, anchored by a funky, but menacing bassline with vocal cuts and a catchy guitar loop, rework that bringing original into a chugging, low slung
prowler with raw biker disco percussion. 
Yet again here La Dame Noir have served up a fresh modern dark disco package that packs real heat. Enjoy

PREMIERE: Moderna & Theus Mago - Tecno Misógino (Bufi Remix) [La Dame Noir] (2017)

@Yuksek ’s now six year old label @PartyfineMusic kicks off 2019 with a bumper compilation featuring plenty of exclusive tracks from  key associates old and new.

The compilation showcases what the label will release in 2019, with forthcoming EPs by new signees @HelloAzur , PoloCorp (half of French duo Polo & Pan), Birdee & French Toast, Uncle O, and exclusive tracks by Obas Menor (half of Rabo & Snob), YouMan, Love Will Say No, Moonlight Matters and more as well as edits and remixes by Purple Disco Machine and Yuksek himself.

Dark disco, deviant disco, neo disco, psycho disco... you can pick up just about any word to describe the sound of this new compilation, but for sure disco is the main influence. Disco is not only for poolsides or cheesy parties, as this label has long been proving.

Brainchild of Multi Culti A&R, Sascha Funke and Niklas Wandt were introduced by Dreems, who charted a course for the seasoned Berlin-based producer and funky multi-percussionist and singer. 

Wandt was just about to enter the scene forcefully with his collaborative 2LP with Wolf Müller and the debut single of his band Neuzeitliche Bodenbeläge. In the icey cold of his warehouse rehearsal space, Funke had him record a variety of slapped, bowed and scratched percussions (congas, talking drum, prepared cymbals played with a bass bow) over his tracks. These first efforts were later expanded into joint sessions at Sascha's home studio and, within a few weeks, the journey reached it’s destination: Wibe strasse, Deutschland.

At first glance, they seem an odd couple: a techno veteran of almost thirty years meets a side-burned upstart socialized in Free Jazz and Krautrock. but the shared sonic influences come through in the hypnotic, dubbed-out sound, perhaps rooted in the close connection the two share to the Rheinland region in West Germany, Funke as part of the Kompakt family and Wandt by origin and socialization in the Cologne and Düsseldorf music scene centered around the Salon des Amateurs. Regional flavours, global appeal. Multi Culti, promoting local collaboration, one freaky record at a time.

Rodeo Star is yet another completely realised piece of synth-disco perfection from Berlin-based New Wave Dance-Duo, Pardon Moi. The track is a powerful and memorable tune, an outstanding piece of dance music that possesses forward movement and direction, a melodic narrative and emotional arc that sets it above most of the utilitarian electro-dance sounds. ‘Rodeo Star’ is a steady yearning and cathartic moment of synth heaven, a pulsing track well-suited for any hour on the dance floor. Played by discerning selectors like Job Jobse through the last year, the single is finally available via Bandcamp now.



The formidable staying power and indelible New Wave Disco aesthetic of Pardon Moi is no minor triumph as the duo so ably embody the forgotten pop magic and capture how complex-yet-simple the music really is. The effortless agreement between unapologetic beats, lush synth-crescendos, and most critically the human voice tying it together tell of a complete universe, an instantly definable and unforgettable dance music moment. Pardon Moi flirt with discrete retro influences but are actively and uncynically proving they are incredibly modern and able practitioners of new disco. 



Given their uncanny ability to align their production and performance powers with all manner of disco subgenres and also integrate seamlessly with every type of party and dance music lineup, it comes as no surprise that Pardon Moi will join the illustrious roster of Berlin Italo Disco stalwarts Slow Motion / Wrong Era for an exclusive vinyl release dropping this month. PREMIERE: Rodeo Star - Pardon Moi

The original I’m Wild, Oh I See was part of REPVII released in 2017. Remixed by Id!r and Theus Mago. They gave the track a more dancefloor orientated feel. The two Remixers met and became friends back in 2014 in Paris. This is a swift and thunderous collaboration between the two, made in Theus studio in Mexico City. Theus Mago is the alter ego of Mexican producer Mateo González.

PRÈMIÉRE: Sutja Gutierrez - I’m Wild, Oh I See (Theus Mago & Id!r Remix) [Relish]

IND 003 is the 2nd Vinyl release on INDUSTRIA. Robi Insinna’s new project
label. Industria is not just about music, but also products, art and more.
The Vinyl is limited Edition of 200 Records. 190 are w/ transparent plastic cover
and hand Numbered. 10 Copies will be part of INDUSTRIA LIMITED Show
happening in September and will feature Screen prints on the plastic Cover.
This record one can say was planned a while back when Robi had a DJ gig together with Vox Low. The next day while meeting in the lobby for a late coffee and a croissant in a quiet Bordeaux Hotel, the idea came for a swap Remix on Vinyl.
When Robi started Industria, he still had in mind that the second Vinyl release could be that swap. Guess both Artist coming from a similar background and working in a similar analog organic style liked the idea and knew what they would get sound wise would be something both have plenty to play with.
On the A side Vox Low remixed Robi’s HARD WORK, which was already released
in 2018 including a remix by Die Wilde Jagd. Vox Low turned the track into a dark more dancefloor orientated version. Still with the trademark Vox Low sounds and Guitars.
On the B side Robi remixed You Are A Slave. He liked all the sounds so much that he thought it is better to keep as much from the original as possible, still trying to make it his own version. He added percussion to create a more funky/dark sound and extended the track. The dub was done in an old school kind of way. All the parts where laid out on a mixer and assigned to various tape delays and reverbs and would be dubbed real time, in the school of Mad Professor or Lee Perry. Not an easy approach and it needed several takes till it started making sense. All mistakes and organic things where important to this Dub.
Robi will be hosting an INDUSTRIA Limited exhibition later in the year, which will
show the direction the label is going.
