‘Parachutes’ immediately sets the senses adrift, enticing us in with multiple layers of dreamlike melodic haze, sparse broken drums and deep dubwise lows made for full body hypnosis, while the wicked bass bin rumbler ‘103 Alarm’ deals in mysterious swirling rhythms, with alien-like synth stabs and immersive drones turning up the suspense before a wash of melancholy and a whispering voice calls from beyond.

The choppy groove of ‘Juts’ makes for a deep jungle inspired house melter, the soundtrack to a surprise encounter with a friendly being from a distant planet. The final offering ups the stakes with the tech savvy ‘Play-Doh’ whipping us into an acidic frenzy full of heavy bass wobble and moments of sublime dancefloor euphoria.”

Speculation and anxiety fuelled much of her day-to-day; though little changed in her routine, the fear something would throw a spanner in the works continued to plague her mind. She was bound by ritual, in work and play, and anything that diverted from it seemed to throw her life into disarray. But that was no way to live; excitement came in spontaneity and surprise, knowing that everything could shift within a nanosecond...

After the success of their first SHOUTS compilation, which marked their five year anniversary as a label, Bradley Zero's Rhythm Section International are now stepping up for round two, bringing together artists from across the world and across the musical spectrum to showcase the sounds at the core of the imprint: past, present and future. On home turf, contributions come from the likes of James Massiah, Adam Pits and Yushh while across the pond to the West and the East, artists like Kareem Ali, Klein Zage and Soso Tharpa join the line up and, continuing their mutual relationship with Australia, they welcome POOKIE, Liluzu and more to the fold.

Tongue-in-cheek as usual, belleter Niklas Wandt melts up pianos, acid lines and bass heavy breaks as raw material for Die Glocke (The Bell). When the hunchback pours the lead of three decades of rave culture onto your lost souls, it’s too late for shelter. Fantastic Twins evaporates not just the bell but the whole bell tower into particles of peak time madness for the mental cases.

On the flip Bodyzeit heats up on an even more old schoolish tip with breaks that definitely win the bumper car dancefloor. Very sorry for the spilt drinks, thrown fags, popped pills, ripped shirts and funny faces trying to sing along these german vocoder phrases. Borusiade doing some serious bodywork, shifting gears down in her lowrider manner, modding this burner into a dreamish but deep wee-hour masterride.

I was dancing when I was out, I was dancing when I was in. Is it strange to dance so late? Is it strange to dance so soon? Cosmic dancers always ball. Dancing with themselves, dancing space away. Right into the smallest hole a human brain can create: the inner cosmos, a psychedelic region, where time gets space and space turns to haze. Berlin based producer TM Solver is such a kind of cosmic dancer. He has danced late. And so soon. Since 2008 he released yearly one, sometimes two albums via the German Berlin School dedicated label Syngate and its experimental subdivision Luna. Intensely meandering synthesizer journey music, that is pirouetting on inner universes, genuinely crafted in the tradition of Berlin School and Krautrock. You can catch the unearthly nuances of Can and the spaciously swinging psychedelic corners of Amon Dül, Embryo, Tangerine Dream, or Klaus Schulze. As TM Solver has been a lover of analog synthesizers for almost 30 years, all pulsates on analogue sound orbs under the zigzagging guidance of machines like Moog Prodigy, Korg MS20 and GRP A4, as well as state-of-the-art systems as ASM Hydrasynth and Korg Wavestation. When he got in touch with the Berlin club scene and all its propelling grooves in 2006, a new rhythmic universe joined his vast musical space of sound
latitudes. “Tinkering around with sound structures is my thing. Leading the listener into a combination of music and sound spaces.“ he reveals on his emotive musical art. How affecting it works, is now displayed with four epic compositions for R.i.O., Berlin Wedding’s label of novel ways for caved rhythmic patterns. Grooving between 90 to 240 BPM, they offer a vast variety of emotional landscapes, slowing down, rolling up, driMing into genuinely layered tonality magic. Headspace music for vigilant wanderers. Utterly psychedelic and yet so clear. His R.i.O. debut “Subtraktiv Additiv“ comes with five additional remixes, fashioned by R.i.O. conspirator Benedikt Frey, Amsterdam based DJ and producer Mayo, “Die Orakel” magician O-Wells from Frankfurt, Siamese Twin Records co-runner Sunju Hargun, and the versatile club and beyond production duo Red Axes. Something had to give, that much was certain. The situation had become unsustainable and one of them needed to take their leave - who would be the one to take the hit though was another matter entirely... There was a lot riding on that decision. They'd hoped all of this would end in a graceful, amicable compromise but the reality was far from that, only time and space could heal these wounds now. 

You can't mention Tin Man without mentioning acid. The producer has become synonymous with the 303, using the infamous machine to create all kinds of squelchy and hypnotic variations for Global A Records, Acid Test and Infrastructure New York as well as teaming up with artists like John Tejada and Jozef K. For his next release, he makes his debut on Bureau B with Arles, a release that departs from his usual dance floor offerings and explores beautiful melodies and cosmic vibrations - there's no question it's still a Tin Man creation though.

C-thru - The Otherworld is a collection of introspective cosmic-leaning dance music that gives a healthy nod to the golden era of trance, ambient, and down-tempo from Austin, Texas based producer Jesse Edwards. 

Inactive for several years, these 10 tracks mark a new chapter for Jesse Edwards. Previous works include his well received psychedelic project, Red Morning Chorus, that included Boards of Canada amongst its fans. 

Edwards began his musical journey in the late 90s playing shoegaze and experimental music with Jessica Bailiff (Kranky). The pair collaborated on several albums together including works with Flying Saucer Attack, His Name is Alive, & Odd Nosdam (Anticon).
