Straight from the Mediterranean Sea, the Greek Duo Bonnie and Klein have landed at MM Discos to present “ROOF GARDEN”, an EP where the balearic beats and downtempo takes over the control and where the “2 Balearica devotes” invite us to enjoy an amazing trip from the Ionian coast thru the Aegean beaches until Myrtle Sea.
Bonnie & Klein are no longer unknown after being working the last 4 years for well renown labels as “Leng”, “Music for Dreams” and “Is It Balearic?” among others. Following their previous releases, B&K stay loyal to their own personal vision of “Chillout”. Highly influenced by the architecture and culture from Greece, George & Thanasis build beat after beat an amazing work where their “Laid Back Style” will be the main character on this story, a long with haunting keys, wicked percussions, and sounds and melodies that will remind to “Far East”.

Late Night Drum Club’s latest release comes from label co-owner SWIN, a 4 track EP of club ready sounds. The release features cosmic breakbeats, acid riffs and spacey 2-step all tied together with a unique twist of drones, melodic progression and sampling.

After releasing music with his projects Vermelho Wonder and Sphynx, ODD’s man Vermelho is back in the solo game with “Headspin”, an acid and contagious journey.

The song is part of the recently released “Fazedores de Som” compilation, a work sculpted by multifaceted sounds from the old and new schools producers of Brazilian electronic music.

2020 will be remembered as the year that the entire world was on lockdown, with almost the whole population locked up in their houses, producers have seen in their studios the best way to escape this tragic situation. MPC’s, Drum Machines and Synthesizers have been (and still are) like time machines that along with their creativity have built new dimensions far away from the currently reality and where they have found their own personal freedom.
MM Discos introducing you this compilation where most of the tracks were created during this hard times of Covid-19, and that joins homies and forthcoming featured artists to the label along with some well respected artists from the downbeat-balearica scene. An amazing trip to a “not-forbidden” paradise created from the home studio.
Starting with a small ambient appetizer signed by “Modern Obscure Music” capo Pedro Vian, the album dares to explore different styles, turning more tropical with the works from Rompante and Document Swell to something more floor oriented with the tracks from LuKKas and the one from Da Silva, one of the thinking heads of MM Discos.
Barcelona’s based producer Mateis E. Aquir does his thing producing something more organic and selvatic while “Is it Balearic?” recording commanders Coyote put the album in a Leftfield-Dub-Rastafari mood. Tribal italian maestro Josè Manuel does what he knows best and signs a very personal, ethnic and dreamlike work.
On the other hand, Portuguese producer Jepe imprints a magical and dreamy touch in the compilation followed by the laid back style from greek balearica devotes Bonnie & Klein that will bring us straight to the Cayman Islands, and last but not least, this amazing Neo-Funky styled cut from Russian’s hero Volta Cab.

The air hung thick, laced with the smell of crumbling brick and hot sticky bodies. As the smoke ebbed and flowed through the crowd, all shapes became lost in the mist, only the odd flailing limb appearing from the darkness. The room was packed with barely any room to move, but dancers tried their best, clinging to the spaces they'd found on the dance floor. Here they'd remain until the lights came on and they were ushered out in to the cold morning...


Following the release of his Music Not Safari album on Skint Records earlier this year, DFA and Phantasy producer The Emperor Machine serves up one last batch of alternative versions, this time of the title track. Taking the same form as the previous singles, the release includes an Extended Mix, Version 54 and Warehouse Jam, all of which showcase his ability to take the same track into different unique and compelling directions.

It’s with great pleasure that we announce Kisk’s first LP in a long time, titled ‘Jazzyness’, which perfectly represents his free spirit as a producer. Jazzyness is a carefree miscellaneous of Jazzy sounds and virtuosities and it’s a flawless portrait of his way of thinking music. Every track of the LP is a journey through Kisk’s musical mind and a perfect display of his influences: great taste for sampling and a relentless will to find the perfect groove. The result is a rhythmically fulfilling work decorated by masterly written harmonies and tied together by his simple yet striking approach to production. But most importantly, ‘Jazzyness’ is uncompromising being exactly as it’s supposed to be for his creator; it’s Kisk speaking his peculiar dialect through his sounds. The eleventrack album, mastered on tape by Lopazz, is a real House music research featuring dancefloor bangers, Tribal and Ambient journeys, funky visions and some Brokenbeats too (one of the producer’s first loves). PREMIERE : Kisk - African Dream

The full moon lit up the road, casting a brighter glow than the dim street lamps that bordered each side. It was her nightly ritual, watching the comings and goings from her window, hoping to catch wind of a neighbourhood drama or some strange activity only carried out during the nocturnal hours. But nothing stirred, not even the rumble of a car ignition or a stray cat sniffing out its next meal. Everything was quiet, peaceful. Too peaceful... 

Next up on Massimiliano Pagliara's Funnovojere Records, lovingly named after a small beach in southern Puglia, is an instalment from London-based producer Harsh Puri under his Reformed Society alias. Joining the likes of Rotciv, Armonics and James Booth on the label, Reformed Society brings a collection of raw, harmonic synth cuts that blur the boundaries between techno and house. With the first drafts getting the seal of approval from the Guv'nor himself, the late Andrew Weatherall, you can be assured Cosmic Perspective's celestial synth melodies will have you beguiled from lift off to touch down.
