'French artist Trudge returns to Lobster Theremin with his debut LP No More Motivation arriving on March 18th with a genre-bending and original masterstroke; charged as it is cerebral. The album's concept points to the artist's tumultuous relationship with music; plagued by life events and the looming shadow of tragedy. That same relationship however, has led to an album of nuance, a cathartic whirlwind that pushes and pulls from one part of the psyche to the next.

From the laden house sounds found in his earlier work, to the hard-hitting emotive techno we hear today, both Trudges’ personal and artistic evolution runs parallel, drawing between the lines of introspection and dance music’s modern functionality.

Bangkok Radio kicks off proceedings with a reminiscent drive through the city's bustling landscape, as space unfolds the further we travel from the hustle and bustle of daily life. No Motivation, meaningless is a nod to the producer's headspace - burdened by the unpredictability of reality and it’s governing influence on art; echoing throughout the entire album.

Mazzomba explores the duality of light and dark; heavily submerged sounds can be heard melting below the surface, as airy synths create an ethereal glow - acting as our torch through the crud-infested trench. The album's interlude ‘Berserk’ provides a rest bite, an ambient dreamscape laced with deeply layered textures - casting warm fluorescent light amongst the clouds as balance is restored.

Tracks Dead Orange and Gradient demonstrate the artist's knact for intelligent sound-design and world-building soundscapes, while Unghosted and Punishments sees Trudge venture into raw and unwavering compositions created for the dance-floor.
Closing the album is Blue Ritual, a thought-provoking piece that has the ability to transport and heal. It’s introspective layers point to the changing winds to come - rounding off an album not binded by genre, but an eclecticism that characterizes an artist true to his craft.'

The 'Feel Like Fucking' EP by Ackermann on Rekids’ Rekids Special Projects starts with the title cut, which features hurried, pent-up techno kicks and a warm bassline. Hi-hats dance up top with sleazy vocals skating across the groove next to smeared synth details. It's a profoundly seductive track, while 'Love Is Good' has a more celebratory feel in its old-school chord vamps and punchy house drums.

The fantastic 'Push' on Safe Space label head Ackermann’s ‘Feel Like Fucking’ EP then hurries along at a hundred miles an hour with rolling kicks and driving bass. It's topped with a well-filtered synth line that shifts about the mix to bring an extra dynamic sense of energy. 'Wiggle Your Neck' gets more playful with percussive but stripped-back beats, closing out this offering with freaky vocal details and plenty of infectious bounce.

Ackermann has been a well-established DJ for many years but decided to focus on production in 2020. Since then, he has been a staple in the influential record bags of artists like Ben Klock, Len Faki, and Charlotte De Witte, while his club-ready sounds have appeared on UNCAGE, Syncrophone, and his own Safe Space label.

Laurent Garnier's COD3 QR presents the magnificent seven on the latest digital release, "[QR]D.320.MFS.24", which features exclusive tracks by both label regulars and new signings: Alex Rothschild, Loloman, Costello, Manuel-M, Carlos Nilmmns, Jim Rivers and Onur Ozman.

Alex Rothschild aka Coco Basel is a producer and DJ whose musical journey was shaped by a decade in New York. During this time, he was deeply influenced by house music legends such as Todd Terry, Terry Hunter, Frankie Knuckles, David Morales, and Louie Vega. Now he's gravitating towards minimalist electronic music, like "Cosmorak", enriched with groovy basslines, while retaining the New York and Detroit essences that have defined his style.

Loloman is a leading French producer creating music without adhering to conventional rules, blending styles, synthesizing sounds, and unveiling a unique and diverse musical world filled with strong emotions and a groove that aims for universality, inspired by his extensive experience on the dancefloor. He has previously released tracks on the likes of MB Elektroniks, Brique Rouge, Metrohm, and here with his latest for Cod3 QR, "The Wall”.

Costello is a versatile French electronic music producer, artist, and DJ known for his cutting-edge sound and technical prowess. With a rich discography that traverses techno, disco and beyond, Costello has carved out a niche as a genre-defying act which he brings to new track "Dream Operator". His standout tracks have previously captured the attention of underground stalwarts like Boys Noize, Solomon for releases on their labels. And of course Laurent Garnier.

A discreet yet respected artist on the scene, Manuel-M has been working passionately behind his machines since 2008. He remains attached to an old-school vision, marked by the pioneers of techno, while incorporating his style through contemporary sound design as displayed on his track "Take". His major influences, notably Technasia, Vince Watson and Ken Ishii, are reflected in his compositions, which are both eclectic and deeply rooted in the music's heritage. Manuel navigates between genres, with releases on other renowned labels such as Tronic and Brique Rouge.

Ross McMillan aka Carlos Nilmmns is a UK producer, originally from Glasgow (Scotland) but now living in Angers (France), whose name has become synonymous with an eclectic but often deep and sensual sound. In the past, he's released on some of the world's best-of-breed labels including Circus Company, Cocoon, Ornaments, KMS, Planet E and Dopewax. Here he delivers the jazz-infused beauty, "Just Another Day".

Returning to the studio after several years hiatus, Jim Rivers aka Copy Paste Soul has picked up where he left off. With previous releases on Bedrock, Global Underground, Renaissance and an album on Carl Cox's Intec label, Jim's back catalogue is awash with variety, made with a depth and warmth few can match. After finding time to immerse himself back into the studio, the past few months have been a hive of activity, culminating in a string of new productions for Poker Flat, Traum and here on COD3 QR with the driving "Canna".

Onur Ozman is one of the more remarkable names in Deep House. He is an artist and a professional architect, who combines both disciplines in his precise productions. Sound design to the smallest details. Now based in Zurich (Switzerland), Onur started his career as a prominent member of the Istanbul House music scene in early 2005, and his musical talent has since led to him releasing music on labels like Sum Over Histories, Isolate, Yoshitoshi, Hottrax, Rebirth, Noir Music and Kwench. His love for the origins of electronic music mixed with a commitment to the discovery of new sounds gives his catalogue a wide range, with no genre restrictions, like this experimental closing track "If U Want".
