Leeds' legendary 20/20 Vision Recordings marks 30 years at the forefront with this new project, 'Full Circle', which takes the form of a series of records and events celebrating a fine legacy. Founded by Ralph Lawson and Carl Finlow in a Leeds farmhouse, 20/20 has since put out nearly 500 releases and 2,000 tracks in all. This latest features rare gems, remixes and unreleased tracks and kicks off with a showcase of classics reintroduced for a new generation. Highlights include Christian Loffler's melancholic 'York', Tuccillo's evocative 'Sabotage', Art of Tones' 'Praise', which is already a bonafide anthem for DJs like Honey Dijon, Wulf n Bear's debut 'Space Groover'. Renowned for his consistently slick productions, the Parisian artist captures the essence of the city’s iconic sound from the 2000s, infused with his signature mind-bending modern flair.


Combining the original commanding vocals with a unique electro twist, Karassimeon elevates ‘Los Niños Del Parque’ to exhilarating heights. Lasers whip throughout the edit, punctuating each bar while the arrangement slices through beautifully detailed, intoxicating spaces. This unstoppable dancefloor gem encapsulates the irresistible energy of the seminal 1982 release whilst bringing 2025 a refreshing tone. '

Liaisons Dangereuses - Los Ninos Del Parque - Karassimeon Edit [A Ufo]

DJs Concret and Inigo Vontier unite as a duo, The Diyeis: a crocodilian-simian fusion of primeval sound, uniting mammal and reptile. Their mission is to harness "the primal, tribal effect of ecstasy on the dancefloor" - this is, of course, a target which many producers shoot for, and yet whose tiny red bullseye few are actually able to hit. 'Ritmo' and 'Skat' opt for a different, rather minimal approach to achieve the same "primal" effect, contrasting the usual cliches of hide-taut hand drum and nighttime ghost-dance chants. The Diyeis don't need to abide such tritenesses; their claim is that the tendency towards primordial dancing always already exists in us, without requiring evocation in style. 'Muevelo', in fact, entirely upends anything we'd expect of a "primal, tribal" release, bringing digi-redux hats jacked to high, clipped heaven, and weird FX, which reach a similar, and yet more unconfined head on B2 'Lo Que Pasa'.

Antoni Maiovvi is an artist like few others. “Knights of New Haven” summarises his unique ability and unparalleled range. 

This return to the Bordello reflects the influence of the West Coast Sound of the Netherlands as well as that machine music of his adopted home of the U.S. “Later Not Lately” bends bars above a throbbing kick, hi-hats ruffling the clean arcs of string. Echoes of Chicago and Detroit penetrate the EP. 

Melting melodies fold and oscillate under the crashing cymbals of “Slack Blabbath”, staggered synthlines jolted by tight percussion patterns. A brother-in-arms opens the flip, Danny Wolfers drafted in under his Legowelt moniker to turn his magic to “Later Not Lately”. Undulating undertones are sliced by serrated snares before a sordid TB303 is unsheathed, Wolfers’ soulful and squalid retelling of the original. 

“The Madness in the Method” closes. Fizzing static blurs drum patterns, a taut note piercing the dense bass fog. Teetering between the profound and the profane, Maiovvi pivots his horror disco trademark sound with driving house drums and devil-may-care grandeur. An EP of epic proportions.
