The climate within the glasshouse was murky and warm. The heat poured prominently through the long windows as the plants soared elegantly into the sunshine up above. On level ten, an environment was blossoming, one left untouched by man and machine. In this place nature would thrive and flourish for generations to come as the chimes echoed in the hollow space. 

Munro is set to release a new two track EP on XVI Records. Two truly wicked tracks packed with summer enthusiasm and vibes a plenty.

Parisian dance music veteran DJ Koyote has just reactivated his Supergenius imprint and the first release is a split EP featuring two tracks of his and two others produced by Brittany luminary Christophe Le Gall aka Too Smooth Christ. The Koyote sound has distinctive live feel : you can visualize him jamming over his keyboards – and having fun at it. Seine St Denis Hills is a dark house tune with an eighties plastic sheen and ominous vibe, yet it has an almost comical simplicity to it that makes it unmissable.
The same vaguely parodic but at the same time very serious sensation keeps vibrating in the second track, «Poly800 Bass», a roaming stomper with just a few elements but massive impact. TSC’s «Face Reality» is a more hyperactive affair, but shares the eighties urban music inspiration : freestyle synths and raw deep house bass are all over the place. «Arp-Emogol-Peggio» stays in the edgy, angular electronic zone but adds a mysterious touch to this honest-to-goodness EP. Those four tracks are native speakers of the dance language and manage to use it per- fectly with no need to get sophisticated, over produced or post-modern. They just make you feel the right way. The corridor echoed with the sound of birds and whistles. The glass chamber was kept awfully warm in the summer, although that was partially as a result of the radiant heat which burned down upon the greenhouse from outside. Within the melting pot there was a delicate harmony which was hard to replicate out there amidst the wilderness of the city. Wild things simply did not grow amidst the concrete jungle, despite the funny turn of phrase. In here all things could flourish in their own time. 

Maestro are a new Scottish/ French power duo who are to release their second album in the coming months. They have showcased a single from the forthcoming release on a new EP for Tigersushi, complete with some stellar remixes. General Ludd do the damn thing this time around.

The hotel was busy with customers and guests, it was a friday night after all and it would be expected to be as such. It was the first time that they had ever been invited into such a fine establishment, had they ever thought that they might have ended up here? The marble floor glimmered under the glow of electric lights and small groups of people held sophisticated conversations in elegant hallways. It was packed to the rafters with the other side of life and yet they still lived on the fringes of the world left outside. 

Efficient Space are set to continue their fine form as the label prepares to release a compilation of oddball dance cuts lost to the depths of obscurity and rescued. It's bloody brilliant.

PREMIERE: Sobriquet - Is This Your First Time (Artificial Remix)[Efficient Space]

The french artist Dombrance continues his series of tracks and songs inspired by politicians.

"These are not political songs, I just get inspired by their names and personality" says the producer on an interview with French TV.

In collaboration with Bufi, this is the first time Dombrance uses a non-french politician, choosing the recently elected Mexican president Andrés Manuel López Obrador (AKA AMLO) and his controversial personality as his victims. Mockery or hommage? Is up to you to decide.

The single is complemented by a dreamy "Tulum" and magnificent re interpretations from in-house artists Mijo & Perfect Lovers, and Ambiance.
