Over the last decade Rex The Dog has released on Kitsuné, Southern Fried and most notably Kompakt, where last year he dropped 'Sicko' and it shot him back into the spotlight. He's a certified hot dog and we've been in love with the pooch since he remixed 'Heartbeats' by The Knife in 2009 <3.

As summer draws to a close, he heads back to his faithful Kompakt imprint for the 'Teufelsberg' EP and we have the premiere

Premiere: Rex The Dog 'Teufelsberg'

Michael Mayer's new album '&' sees him collaborate with some of the planet's leading musicians and of course a whole lot of friends. The 12 track LP features tracks with Roman Flügel, Agoria, Kölsch​, Miss Kittin and Barnt. His collaboration with Barnt is a trippy, majestic number that's drenched in voodoo tones and there's now a remix package to accompany the track.

Patrice Baumel has put his own spin on 'Und Da Stehen Fremde Menschen​' but here we concentrate on UK favourite, Kowton's edit. As expected the Livity Sound don has stripped everything back and turned the suspense into structure, with steely tones and a demonic 4/4 running through its core.

Having started off his eponymous label in eye catching fashion with a debut EP featuring Legowelt and ASOK remixes, TVe returns with a second EP that again finds its original tracks mining a rich seam of experimental, jazz, ambient and cinematic influences.
The Belgian producer further displays his knack for canny remixer selection by enlisting dOP to work their unique magic on the EP's title track. The French duo optimize Noa's Statue for dancefloor use in their trademark fashion by bringing the groove to the forefront without diminishing its off kilter improvisational charm.

Technicolour signee, Dauwd, aces his re-depicton of the title track, hinting at golden-era Chain Reaction, while Kiwi slows down Salsce, retaining all of its drive, adding further cosmic brushstrokes. 

Four weapons of the mind, just in time for Life and Death’s annual Art Basel showcase, a trippy affair.

Skryptom 14 was huge with Pierre Delort and Remy Maurin plus the remix from The Hacker, so let’s go again for a Huge EP from our TRAUMER. Romain Poncet aka TRAUMER delivers 4 different killer tracks where the first one 'Sofa' is very deep techno, beautiful, but also dance floor friendly. On the second side we have 2 rough techno bombs with 'Oscla' a killer combination of pure Detroit banging techno and a sound who can perfectly fit to the Berghain peak time. 'Astra' is a rather industrial track with a break kick and a mix of Detroit chords and pads who make you dance and fly very very far . TRAUMER is definitely the new huge future French talent, follow him closely ….
