It's been a while since our last Take Two EP release and we're pleased to share that our next Take Two EP comes from DJ & Producer Marco Pedro based in the Phillipines! Inspired by the sounds of the favela, Marco collaborates with his fellow label mates & friends on 3 bailefunk drive remixes! Perfect for the upcoming festival season, club shows and livestreams, these tracks are made to liven your sets and take it up a notch that will be loved by audiences around the world.

Marco Pedro collaborates with fellow label mate ManilaJunkie on a remix of Asap Rocky's RAF for the second track on this EP. The pair merges the signature Bailefunk vocals and drums with a trap switch up within the song that makes it suitable for the clubs and your livestream shows!

This edit release is special for Les Amis. Not only because we are friends with @wearechamos, but also because they are our favourite dj/producer collective around the globe. Being an institution in their hometown Arnhem / Netherlands, the trio made itself a name by playing shows and spreading good vibes all around the world. Make sure to pull up, when you see their name on a flyer in your area! @wearechamos are also going to release a new edit pack this summer - if you know you know!

As summer winds down, Sophisticated Delinquency proudly presents Summer Forever, a compilation that is a bittersweet farewell to our favorite season. This summertime soundtrack features elite producers Marco Pedro, RICHTANNER®, SicStyle, House Flora, Los Más Duritos, Alfa Leone, and DB Cooper. 

On August 2nd, the first single released is a tropical remix of Brent Faiyaz hit “Dead Man Walking” by producers Marco Pedro and RICHTANNER®. Then, every Monday in August, Sophisticated Delinquency releases another one of the compilation’s singles on BandCamp. 

Based in the Philippines, eclectic DJ/producer Marco Pedro is a welcomed staple in Metro Manila who regularly performs in clubs all over including distinguished venues like Black Market, Yes Please, and The Island at The Palace. Despite starting to produce music at the beginning of the pandemic, Marco has multiple releases on Up. Records, SaturdaySelects, Orange Juice Asia, and now his first on Sophisticated Delinquency.

RICHTANNER®  developed a club-oriented approach to music production over the course of a nearly decade-long DJ career. The Canadian DJ/producer navigates the space between future beats, house, hip hop and global rhythms to capture a broader, more worldly sound. 

“Dead Man Walking” and more singles from Summer Forever drop all August 2021 on Sophisticated Delinquency via BandCamp.
