Whatever Syndrome has grown in cases over the last decade to astronomical levels.  2023 alone saw an 85% spike in official diagnoses, with doctors and research professionals fearing that many cases go undiagnosed or misdiagnosed.  Once acquired, Whatever Syndrome is a life-long condition.

The ‘Maxwell Institute of Creative Undertakings and Neuro-Technoscience’ (or MI CUNT) has recently published a study in which 700 men and women (between the age of 31 and 69) formally diagnosed with Whatever Syndrome were observed over a period of 12 months to help identify triggers and environmental factors affecting the condition, along with a trial of ground-breaking new treatments (see Chapter 11: ‘🖕’ and Chapter 13: ‘Life after my Whatever Syndrome diagnosis’). 

🧐 Identifying Whatever Syndrome 
Patients are required to submit ‘Daily Activity Diaries’ and ‘Daily Mood Diaries’ to a healthcare professional over a period of 6 weeks (see Table XI: ‘Daily Diary Scoring’).  Healthcare professionals are required to monitor their patient’s reported daily symptoms, with a combination of at least 7 out of 11 unique and persistent daily symptoms (see ‘Symptoms’), over a period of 3 months, prior to a Whatever Syndrome diagnosis.

🤒 Symptoms
(i) Persistent eye-rolling (at least nine (9) eye-rolls per consultation), (ii) facial expression score; ‘Resting Prick’ or ‘Resting Bitch’ (see appendix C), (iii) blank stares when “talking shit” to the patient (see ‘Definitions’), (iv) criticising the patient's inherent features or flaws causes further eye-rolls and deterioration of ‘Resting Prick’ or ‘Resting Bitch’ score, (v) sporadic amnesia (patient forgets you exist once you commence a monologue), (vi) selective hearing (persistent negativity will cause the patient to “tune out”), (vii) patient has no fucks or repeatedly neglects to bring their fucks to consultations, (viii) nausea and stomach pain when within six (6) feet of disingenuous adult humans, (ix) sudden onset of nudist tendencies, (x) gait score; ‘Strut’ (see appendix D), (xi) patient frequently uses the hand gesture “The Wanker” (see appendix G) (can be combined with eye-rolls).
