Produced in collaboration with Wetakeoff and arranged by Felipe Ribeiro Santos, Japhet Boristhène, Christophe Mola, and Jean Alain Boissy, the EP is visually brought to life by Edwin Ward and Le Sly.
Le Sly, whose real name is Sylvain Rebichon, is a French multi-instrumentalist producer influenced by George Duke, Earth, Wind & Fire, Marcus Miller, and Quincy Jones. Always in search of new sounds, he develops multiple projects both in France and internationally.

Le Sly and Wetakeoff present the Nipsey Hussle Tribute (Re:Mixtape), honoring the late rapper. Initiated during the icon’s lifetime and taking on an even deeper meaning after his murder, this project includes remixes like Who Detached Us, Clarity, and Question #1, produced by the French producers. By curating collaborations with multidisciplinary Ivorian artist Obou Gbais, French guitarist Brice Bottin, pianist Elie Dufour,  Shtidaxx, and producer Good Morning Charlie, they’ve embodied Nipsey’s philosophy of teamwork, perseverance, resilience, the value of dedicating yourself to something you’re passionate about and truly believe in. Learning from true mentors rather than conforming to mainstream narratives—just as Nipsey did throughout his life and career.

His EP Nipsey Hussle Tribute, a homage to the murdered rapper, is a remix project that began while he was still alive and took on a new dimension following his death.
